Risk
A small lens can make it difficult for other drivers to see the turn signal, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the turn signals, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 17, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago Customer Care at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 189.

Risk
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Winnebago will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for replacement or aftermarket fire extinguishers, free of charge. The recall began on January 19, 2018. Risk
A loose power connection may cause a build up of heat at the connection, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will tighten the electrical connection, replacing the ATS box and switch, as necessary. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on September 22, 2016. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-800-537-1885.

If the vehicle can be shifted into reverse without the brakes being applied, the vehicle may unintentionally move, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Ford will notify owners, and Ford dealers will replace the transmission shift control bracket and adjust the transmission shift cable, free of charge. The recall began on November 12, 2015. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535 or Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Winnebago Vista, Brave, Trend, Minnie Winnie, and Itasca Sunstar, Tribute, Viva!, and Spirit vehicles manufactured March 18, 2013, to November 18, 2014. Due to a manufacturing issue, the deadbolt locks installed on the vehicles may become stuck in a locked position.

A stuck deadbolt could potentially trap occupants inside the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair deadbolts as needed, free of charge. Winnebago issued an interim notification to owners on August 21, 2015. The contact owns a 2015 Itasca Sunstar 36Y built on a 2014 Ford F-59 chassis. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the driver’s side window exploded, and the shattered pieces were propelled inside the vehicle. There were no injuries sustained. The contact replaced the window himself. The contact stated that the RV was jerking while driving at various speeds. The power train warning light was illuminated. The contact stated while driving 60-75 MPH, the RPMs increased from 4,000 to 5,500. The check engine warning light and the power train warning light were illuminated. The contact veered to the side of the road. The contact was able to continue driving. The contact stated that he used an OBD reader and retrieved a diagnostic code that related the failure to the drive train. The contact stated that the failure had been occurring increasingly while driving at high speed or while driving downhill. The vehicle was taken to an RV transmission specialist, where the vehicle was diagnosed with low voltage. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.
