On june 15,2014 while driving on the pa turnpike, we had a blow out on our rv. the tires were good year marathon st225/75 R15. We safely changed the tire and no one was injured. after contacting our insurance company and getting an estimate, the damages amounted to $4300.00. our insurance…
On june 15,2014 while driving on the pa turnpike, we had a blow out on our rv. the tires were good year marathon st225/75 R15. We safely changed the tire and no one was injured. after contacting our insurance company and getting an estimate, the damages amounted to $4300.00. our insurance company contacted good year and requested reimbursement of the cost to fix our rv. good year gave the insurance company the full amount requested.. I contacted good year and requested to be reimbursed the cost of our deductible and 5 new tires. I explained that I had researched the tires on the dot site and was not comfortable with the complaints listed. I also explained my reason for purchasing 5 new tires, safety, quality and peace of mind and being proactive for future issues. they offered me one tire cost and the deductible. I declined the offer and am now filing a complaint with the office of the atty general consumer affairs. I will never again purchase good year tires for any of my vehicles. I am also contacting jayco to advise them that although I love my rv, they could have put quality tires on it. *tr

Nhtsa recall # 13v-585, recall on door lock cylinders fastec industrial corp. Division of wesco distribution. I emailed my recall info to fastec in 3/14 and still have not received the two new deadbolt cynlinders/locks. no phone # available and no response to emails by fastec. *js
