Risk
An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as engine coolant temperature or electrical charge increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
Dealers will update the combination meter software through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 23, 2026. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 26LB06, 26LA06, 26TB10, and 26TA10.
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2025 Lexus UX300h vehicles. Certain wires in the engine room wire harness that supply power to the motor generator electronic control unit (MG ECU) may become fractured and separate, which can result in a loss of power.
Risk and remedy
Risk
A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the engine room main wire harness, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 6, 2024. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's numbers for this recall are 24LB07 and 24LA07.

This is a new vehicle. It had been serviced according to the manufacturer’s recommendations at 5000 miles, around 3 weeks prior to the date of this incident. While driving on the freeway, I got an alert that the check engine light came on and there was a “malfunction in the electronic control of the engine, throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected”. Shortly after several more alerts popped up: “a malfunction in the hybrid system” and “a malfunction in the Drive Start Control System” were detected. While attempting to get to a safe location to pull over, the throttle no longer functioned. I was able to coast down an off ramp. Once stopped at the light at the off ramp, the accelerator pedal no longer worked and the vehicle was stopped blocking a lane of the off ramp. After waiting and restarting the car, I was eventually able to pull to a safe location away from the off ramp before the engine failed again.

Driving a Lexus UX300h 2025. Making a right turn from an alley onto a driveway of a house in low speed. Then the car was malfunctioning and suddenly unintended accelerated, and the front end on the driver side hit the brick structure of garage. The car is equipped with Lexus Safety System + 3.0 with Pre-Collision System (PCS). However, the system did not give any warnings to the driver of an impending collision and the Crash Imminent Braking did not apply the brakes automatically to slow or stop the car avoiding the crash.

- 11003650To prevent brake rotor rust from forming during transportation and storage, wheel film will be used instead of a cardboard type of anti-rust cover. The purpose of the wheel film is to shield the disc brake rotor from weather elements and initial rust before the vehicle is delivered to the customer. Consequently, the film should remain on the wheel for as long as possible.
- 11003648The condition known as acid rain is caused by airborne chemicals or particles in the atmosphere, which mix with rainwater, nighttime dew, or high humidity to form acidic compounds. If these contaminants settle and remain on a painted vehicle surface, especially the horizonal areas of the hood, roof, and decklid, significant damage can occur. This damage is the result of actual etching of the paint and appears as pitting or water spots. As acid rain droplets on the vehicle surface evaporate, the concentration strength of the acid increases, causing deeper and more rapid damage. This evaporation and corrosive action also occur more rapidly on dark colored cars as direct sun heat increases. While Lexus paint quality, durability, and resistance to environmental factors is continuously being improved, it remains the responsibility of the dealer to protect and maintain the vehicles paint finish from the time of arrival at the dealership until retail delivery to the customer. In areas known for high frequency and/or concentration of acid rain, frequent vehicle washing during high heat or humidity periods will minimize the potential for paint damage caused by acid rain. It is further recommended that either reverse osmosis or deionized water be used to prevent water spotting. - 11003643Acid rain results from rainwater or other airborne moisture that become acidic due to industrial chemical impurities in the atmosphere. If these acidic compounds settle on an exposed vehicle, especially the horizontal areas such as the hood, roof, and decklid, significant damage to the painted surfaces can occur. Acid rain damage can typically be identified on vehicles by the presence of stains on the paint surface that resemble hard water spots. Unlike water spots however, acid rain damage cannot be removed by regular washing procedures. Also, because acid rain can etch and soften the paint, normal buffing or polishing repair procedures should not be attempted. This can cause further damage and result in visible depressions in the paint surface. The following are the three major categories of acid rain damage: Minor damage: requires only buffing to repair. Moderate damage: usually requires neutralizing, color sanding, and buffing. Severe damage: extending beyond 1/2 mil of clearcoat on a pearl, metallic, or solid color, requires neutralization, sanding, and repainting. In cases where acid rain damage is minor, neutralization and buffing with a liquid-type paint finessing product may provide an adequate repair. Only specially formulated products outlined in this bulletin should be used for that purpose. Unfortunately, other than minor damage, there is no simple method of determining the actual extent (depth) of acid penetration other than color sanding a representative affected area until there is no visible etching or depressions, followed by measuring the amount of paint removed with either a magnetic or digital-type film thickness gauge. The procedures in this bulletin are intended for use by qualified body/paint technicians and should not be attempted by inexperienced personnel. While the quality and durability of paint on Lexus vehicles is continuously being improved, it remains the dealers responsibility to protect and maintain the quality of the vehicles paint finish after receipt at the dealership prior to the first sale. Perform frequent vehicle washing, as often as daily, during high heat and humidity periods to minimize the potential for paint damage due to acid rain exposure. This is especially important in geographical areas known for high frequency and concentration of acid rain and industrial fallout.

This material protects from acid rain, environmental fallout, and rail contamination. Follow the Removal Procedure in this bulletin to remove the RapgardTM protective film within 90 days from initial application. These particles are often difficult to see on dark color paints but can be easily felt when brushing a hand across horizontal body surfaces such as the hood, roof, or deck lid. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to clean vehicles that may have been subjected to contamination by airborne iron particles such as rail dust during rail transportation or extended storage near industrial areas.

- 10251745TSB: Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) is a critical step in satisfying our new car customers. Customer feedback indicates the following areas deserve special attention when performing PDS: ?Careful inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings. ?Proper operation of electrical accessories (including interior light, clock, and radio reset). ?Interior cleanliness. ?Proper function of mechanical systems. Customer retention and proper maintenance of vehicles are and have always been a major focus for Lexus. To help remind customers that regular service is essential to the proper maintenance of the vehicle, dealers are required to input their dealer information and set the service reminder on the Navigation Screen before delivery. By doing this, customers will be reminded to return to your dealership for service. (See Page 2 of the UX 300h PDS Check Sheet, ?Set Dealer and Service Reminder.?) This bulletin contains the PDS procedures that apply specifically to the 2025 model year UX 300h. To properly perform a complete PDS, you must complete all procedures contained in this TSB. During Pre-Delivery Service (PDS), follow the Installation Procedure in this bulletin to attach the driver side, and if applicable, the passenger side and rear seat floor mats to the vehicle carpet using the floor mat retaining hooks (clips).

If the wheels are replaced or refinished before vehicle delivery, it is important that the tires remain on the vehicle in the same location and in the same direction of rotation.
