  The fuel filter has a crack that results in leaking gasoline when the fuel tank IS full. I found that there IS a recall for 2011 glks already in place for this issue, but our glk was built a few months prior to those reported as affected. however, I am certain this IS the same issue with our vehicle based on the description of that recall. nhtsa ID: 12v557000. if there are other similar issues with the same exact model year car, just different build dates, I believe this should be covered by the recall. however when I call dealerships with my vin they deny that recall exists.
