On 7-6-10 at 5:09 pm on 1-26 in mathews s. Carolina a tread and belt separation and blowout of the left front goodyear G670 rv tire dot #danu2caw3503 caused a 45 foot long 2004 monaco rv to leave the travel lanes enter the median, RAM through the cable barrier, cross the median into oncoming traffic and run over a 2006 nissan ultima traveling in the opposite direction killing the driver. Two occupants in the rv sustained minor injuries. Tire had only 41,000 miles of use at blowout.
