Risk and remedy
Risk
A short circuit increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and secure the wiring, adding circuit breaker and fuse protection as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 10, 2022. Owners may contact Newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.
Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Bay Star, Ventana, New Aire, 2019-2020 Canyon Star, Bay Star Sport, Essex, King Aire, London Aire, Mountain Aire, 2018-2021 Dutch Star, 2020 Kountry Star, and 2019 Ventana LE recreational vehicles. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.
Risk and remedy
Risk
Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 10, 2021. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 21E 047.

- 10237011Newmar has decided to add straps to coaches equipped with a front overhead bunk to prevent the possibility of the bunk lowering if the latches were not securely or properly latched and/or unintentional latch release.
- 10214163Newmar Corporation has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in specific motorhomes built on Freightliner and Ford Chassis. On certain Newmar Class A motorhomes, the wiring under the seats may be incorrectly secured, which may lead to a pinched wire in the seat/slide adjustment mechanism.
- 10202751Newmar Corporation has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in specific motorhomes. Lippert (Newmars window supplier) is recalling Hehr 6400 series window vents (Lippert recall 21E 047) built between 10/01/2018 and 08/13/2020, which were used on various coach models during the affected period. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail. Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
- 10153541Newmar has made a change to the water pump circuit fuse on certain coaches to improve customer experience. In most cases, the 10 amp fuse installed by the factory is sufficient. However, some coaches equipped with a ShurFlo water pump (Newmar part # 127488) blow the 10 amp water pump fuse.
- 10145211If a customer complains about their satellite, this product improvement bulletin may be helpful. This will only apply to coaches equipped with an HDMI/ CAT6 splitter AND the customer has installed a Geni-type satellite receiver. In this scenario, the customer may have issues trying to select satellite stations that toggle between high definition (HD) and standard definition.
