Oshkosh Corporation (Oshkosh) is recalling certain 2022-2024 S-Series vehicles. The throttle pedal assembly may contain an oversized magnet carrier, slowing the responsiveness or causing the pedal to stick.
Risk and remedy
Risk
A pedal that sticks increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Oshkosh will replace the throttle pedal, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Oshkosh customer service at 1-888-686-7278.
Technical service bulletins and other communications the manufacturer sent dealers about this vehicle. Ask a dealer for the full document by its number.
11009675This bulletin provides instructions for performing an Over The Air Programming (OTAP) vehicle software update.
11007571This bulletin provides instructions for installing an updated park brake valve pressure switch to eliminate the "sticking" switch issues, as well as the unintended horn alarm when the cab door is open. The updated pressure switch has a higher pressure activation and reset values which reduces the delay experienced with the previous pressure switch.
11005684This bulletin provides instructions to seal around the HVAC fresh air intake and drains ports, and install a deflector bracket to prevent water ingress into the cab.
11005683This bulletin provides instruction for updating the Medallion instrument cluster software version to a new version updating the high transmission temperature icon and alarm to match the Allison high-temp fault settings. The alarm activates when the TCM detects one of the following over-temperature conditions in the transmission sump.
