Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2010-2022 Pierce Velocity, Enforcer, Arrow XT, Quantum, and Dash CF fire trucks. Stokes basket mounting brackets may be insufficiently welded.
Risk and remedy
Risk
The left and/or right brackets can fail, allowing the stokes basket to fall and increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Pierce will replace the stokes basket mounting brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 14, 2022. Owners may contact Pierce's customer service at 1-888-974-3723. Pierce's number for this recall is 74B323.
Pierce Manufacturing (Pierce) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Velocity, Impel, Enforcer, Arrow XT, Quantum, and Dash CF trucks. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly, which can cause the gears to fracture.
Risk and remedy
Risk
A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the steering gears, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 4, 2022. Owners may contact Pierce's customer service at 1-888-974-3723. Pierce's number for this recall is 74B321.

- 11011817Software update for fault codes on Command Zone display: This software update may help remove ambiguity between active and inactive engine error codes shown on the Command Zone display.
- 11008386All Roto Rays are warranted to the purchaser for twenty-four months from the date of service against defects in material or workmanship. During the warranty period products found to be defective will be repaired or replaced (at Roto Rays option) without charge. The defective light must be returned to Roto Rays, INC., 722 Park Ave., Herndon, VA 20170. The light will be returned to the purchaser prepaid.
- 11008381Provide alternate solution if door linkage rods (between inner door handle) and the door latch release from the rod lock. This alternate solution is a cable operated system and may require higher than normal pull force to unlatch the door from the inside.
- 11001524The U17F0 code only appears in DAVIE 4 after the engine has run after a software update. It does not activate a check engine light or cause any change to the engine performance. A Pierce module update is available that will ensure that this code will no longer appear.
- 10248700Detroit recently released an ACM software update v7.61.2.0 to address high occurrences of Selective Catalyst Reduction Closed Loop Control at Maximum Limit faults on Pierce apparatus with MY2016 2022 Detroit engines. The updated software includes improvements for three fault codes.
