The contact smelled a strong odor of ammonia and noticed a fatigue crack in the refrigerator boiler tube. There was a recall associated with nhtsa campaign ID number 06e076000 (equipment: recreational vehicle). The manufacturer was notified and advised the owner would be responsible for the expense of the boiler tube repair and refused to perform the recall remedy until the boiler tube was repaired. The contact was displeased with the recall remedy repair which did not correct the problem. The refrigerator had not been repaired. The serial number was 13603125.
