While driving west on interstate 30 approximately 7 miles from mr. Vernon, tx the left front tire on my travel trailer lost its tread. the tread wrapped around the brake and blew into the wheel well damaging the vanity, breaking the water lines and damaging the interior of the trailer. damage to the trailer was estimated at $1400.00. this was one time occurrence. I replaced the tire with the spare, removed the tread and stopped the water flow. I eventually turned the tire over to my insurance company and filed a claim with the tire manufacturer, american general now continental tire. the tire did not go flat however after parking the trailer the tire did loose its pressure. I had to remove the brake drum and repair the electric brake wires so I could continue on to my destination. I have filed a claim with my insurance company who IS subrogating against the manufacturer. *Tr
