Terex South Dakota, Inc. (TSD) is recalling certain model year 2016 HR, HRX, LT, LTM, TL, TC, and TCX aerial devices manufactured January 1, 2016, to May 12, 2016. These aerial devices have a hydraulic motor whose shaft may fail resulting in unexpected boom rotation or winch movement.
Risk and remedy
Risk
Unexpected boom rotation or winch movement may increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
TSD will notify owners, and instruct owners to inspect the hydraulic motor. Motors within a certain serial number range will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began on August 3, 2016. Owners may contact TSD customer service at 1-800-982-8975. TSD's number for this recall is SN641.

- 10200035PN691 is for products, TL17i, built and sold overseas from Jan 2013 through Dec 2018. Welding was not performed properly on a component part by the overseas supplier and requires repair. No incidents have been reported but cracks have been detected.
