An inadvertently overloaded motorhome due to an incorrect carrying capacity can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
TMC will notify owners, and dealers will issue new OCCC labels with correct seating positions and weight calculations, free of charge. The recall began November 21, 2019. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000176.

In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Thor will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Remedy

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017 Chateau, Freedom Elite, and Four Winds Motorhomes. The sofa may not have a seat belt for the middle seating position.

Risk
Without a seat belt, the occupant sitting in the middle position of the sofa will not be properly restrained in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of an injury.
Remedy
Thor Motor Coach will notify owners, and dealers will install a middle seat belt, free of charge. The recall began on May 8, 2017. Owners may contact TMC customer service 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for the recall is RC000130.
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Four Winds and Chateau motorhomes manufactured June 16, 2015, to April 29, 2016. The affected motorhomes are equipped with a spare tire bracket that may loosen and detach during vehicle operation.

If the spare tire bracket and spare tire detaches, it could be a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy

This motorhome has lippert hydraulic levelers. the front leveling jacks have only 4 11/16 inches of clearance when parked on flat level ground. these jacks contact the roadway and sidewalks that have an elevation deviation, such as driving into gas stations or speed bumps in the roadway traveling at minimal speed. even slight elevations in the road can cause the front jacks to make contact due to the lengthy wheelbase (248 in). these contacts have caused damage to sidewalks while entering gas stations and caused undue alarm for the driver. I have contacted the manufacture and have been told that IS the way they are made, no alternatives have been offered. They told me that 4 1/2 inches clearance IS the acceptable tolerance. that may be acceptable for a standard passenger car, but nor for a vehicle with 248 in wheelbase.

- 10197609It has been determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the hydraulic power steering return line hoses might detach at their connection points under certain operating conditions, which could cause hydraulic fluid to leak, resulting in the loss of power steering assist. If the hydraulic power steering hose detaches, the driver will still have manual steering functionality, but increased steering effort will be needed, particularly at low speeds. Sudden loss of power steering assist as well as the loss of hydraulic steering fluid to the road surface may increase the risk of a crash.
