The metal deflector that protects the refrigerator's wood frame from exhaust is positioned too low, which could allow the exhaust to discolor or char the wood…
Risk and remedy
Risk
Discoloration or charring of the wood frame can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will install a metal deflector extension, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 30, 2021. Owners may contact Triple E customer service at 1-877-992-9906. Triple E's number for this recall is CA#9932-1.
