Risk
If the bolts loosen, steering movement could be restricted, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Triumph will notify owners, and dealers will replace the four bolts with new bolts containing threadlock, free of charge. The recall began on November 7, 2014. Owners may contact Triumph customer service at 1-678-854-2010. Triumph's number for this recall is Service Bulletin 501.
Triumph Motorcycles is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Street Triple and Street Triple R motorcycles manufactured in July 2012; and model year 2012-2013 Daytona 675 and Daytona 675 R motorcycles manufactured September 2012 through June 2013. Risk
The anti-lock function may not perform properly allowing for wheel lock up and skidding, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Triumph will notify owners and dealers will replace the ABS modulator, free of charge. The recall began during August 2013. Owners may contact Triumph at 1-888-283-5288.
Triumph Motorcycles (Triumph) is recalling certain model year 2012 Street Triple motorcycles manufactured from June 2012 through November 2012; and model year 2012 Daytona 675 motorcycles manufactured July 2012 through October 2012. The motorcycles may have been assembled without a guide for the throttle cables.
Risk and remedy
Risk
Without the guide, the cables may move freely and become trapped in the steering stop, impeding the steering operation and affecting the driver's ability to control the motorcycle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Triumph will notify owners, and dealers will install a throttle cable guide free of charge. The recall began on May 30, 2013. Owners may contact Triumph at 1-678-854-2010 for more information.
Triumph Motorcycles (Triumph) is recalling certain model year 2012-2013 Daytona 675, Street Triple, Speed Triple, and Tiger 800 motorcycles. Due to a manufacturing error, the turn signal stems on the front and rear of the motorcycle may fracture.
Risk and remedy
Risk
If the turn signal stems break, the turn signals may not be visible to other vehicles on the road, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.
Remedy
Triumph will notify owners and dealers will replace the turn signal stems, free of charge. The recall began on March 26, 2013. Owners may contact Triumph at 1-678-854-2010 for more information.
Triumph Motorcycles (Triumph) is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 Daytona 675 and Street Triple motorcycles and 2012 Thunderbird and Thunderbird Storm motorcycles. The wheels were assembled with bearings of an unknown quality.

Wheel bearings of poor quality could fail unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a motorcycle crash.
Remedy

TL* the contact owns a 2012 triumph street triple 675. While driving various speeds, the front right turn signal failed to operate without warning. The contact veered to the shoulder of the road and noticed that a bolt was fractured. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred two times. The contact managed to hold the turn signal stems together in the interim. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 13v104000 (exterior lighting). The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 5,900.
- Power train
Transmission gearchange shaft broken at engine c clip. Left stranded in neutral.
- Electrical system
The rectifier/regulator failed due to motorcycle heat. Therefore it did not charge the battery and caused it to stall in traffic several times. Not safe at all. The motorcycle stalled while riding thru a tunnel in traffic.
- Exterior lighting
The blinker stems for both the right and left blinker broke and the blinkers dangle by their cables. This may make the signals un-seeable to on-coming traffic. there was a recall for this issue for the 2012 models but not for my vin series. *tr

In a Consent Order executed on August 28, 2015, Triumph Motorcycles (America) Ltd., and its parent company, Triumph Motorcycles Ltd., (collectively, ?Triumph) admitted that Triumph violated the Safety Act by failing to file certain quarterly reports on safety recalls in a timely manner; failing to furnish NHTSA with copies of notices, service bulletins, and other communications sent to more than one manufacturer, distributor, dealer, lessor, lessee, owner, or purchaser; failing to submit accurate early warning reports; and that it failed to respond to NHTSA's April 29, 2015 Special Order by the deadline.It also admitted that it violated the Safety Act to the extent that it failed to submit the required Part 573 Report to NHTSA within five working days after it determined that a safety-related defect existed in vehicles and to the extent that it failed to submit a copy of its proposed owner notification letters.As part of the Consent Order, Triumph agreed to a total civil penalty of $2,900,000 for its violations of the Safety Act.The penalty consists of a cash payment of $1,400,000; stipulated deferred penalties of $1,000,000, and a commitment to spend at least $500,000 to ensure satisfactory completion of performance obligations.The performance obligations in the Consent Order include submission of reports to NHTSA, retention of an independent third party consultant, creation of best practices, employee training, and auditing of all aspects of Triumph's Safety Act reporting and defects notification.Based on the Consent Order, Triumph's admissions that it violated the law, and its ongoing performance obligations, this audit query, AQ15-001, is closed.Closure of this AQ has no bearing on the terms of the Consent Order, including Triumph's ongoing performance obligations or legal obligations, and does not represent a determination by the agency as to Triumph's performance under the Consent Order to date.

- 10192906A new gear position sensor and fly lead have been introduced to the above models from engine number 596481. If replacing the gear position sensor or fly lead from engine number 596481, refer to the EPC for the part numbers. If replacing the gear position sensor up to engine number 596480, a fly lead must also be fitted to enable the new sensor to be connected to the main harness. To facilitate this, a parts kit (part number T1294242) is available.
- 10192893We have identified that the brake hose clip fitted to the front mudguard on the above models must be replaced. Dealers are requested to remove and replace the clip and, repair/replace the front mudguard if it has been damaged by the brake hoses.
