Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company (Utility Trailer) is recalling certain 2006-2021 VS2DC, VS2DX, VS3DX trailers. The horizontal weld that attaches a mild steel angle to the slider rail for super doubles/pintle hook operations may be missing.
Risk and remedy
Risk
Without the weld, the slider rail may detach from the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Utility Trailer will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if necessary, add the weld, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 9, 2021. Owners may contact Utility Trailer customer service at 1-800-423-6591. Utility Trailer's number for this recall is SB-07-015.

- 10164364Revision to SB-08-176 (original release 01/23/2015) regarding the Enhanced Bendix Chamber Warranty Policy for Utility. The revision includes a change to the Bendix Utility DDSB Warranty Shipping Request Form.
- 10160840Utility Trailer Sales Department released a Sales Bulletin regarding dock bumpers and the potential dock lock compatibility. Any dock bumper equal to or greater than 1" proud of the buckplate light protector bar may reduce trailer dock lock compatibility. Trailers scheduled for production on or after 04/19/2019 will be built with 1/2" proud rubber dock bumpers.
- 10154349Effective February 2019 the 7" deep horizontal dock bumper has become the base spec on all Utility VS2RA and VS2DX model trailers. This Service Bulletin outlines the modification procedures on trailers with a damaged 4" horizontal bumper set-up and will need to be modified to fit the 7" horizontal tube
