The contact stated while driving 70 mph the clutch cable failed and made it impossible for the contact to change gears. the contact was able to coast onto the emergency lane. The contact stated that a certified mechanic replaced the clutch cable several times; however, the failure was not corrected. The motorcycle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vin was not available. the failure mileage was 21,000.
