Clutch cable broke in half while riding. this IS the 3RD clutch cable that's broken on this bike in the last 14 months and appears to be a common problem (based on online forum discussions where others have reported the same failures). when the cable breaks its very difficult to control the bike and becomes a safety issue. luckily all three times I was able to make it to the side of the road then kill the engine and (abruptly) stop. in heavier traffic I believe it would have caused a wreck. there should be a recall for this issue but instead owners are required to purchase a $400 hydraulic clutch upgrade kit and install it. *tr

- 10179060A STOP RIDE MEANS THE CONSUMER MUST NOT OPERATE THEIR VEHICLE UNTIL THE REPAIR IS COMPLETE. We have been made aware that some dealers are incorrectly communicating the importance of STOP RIDE communications.
- 10026243Victory motorcycle: inadequate free play or other system problems. Rear brake free play adjustment IS accomplished by measuring the amount of clearance between the brake pedal and the foot rest support bracket.
- 10026223Victory motorcycles: veci decal replacement: the veci decal on some 2008 model victory motorcycles has the wrong spark plug type listed.
