On certain camping trailers, the innovative design technologies roof lift system IS defective and may fail allowing the roof to collapse unexpectedly.

I have recently discovered there was a recall I was not made aware of on the lift system of this trailer. It IS already documented here under number 05v364000 . however viking gives a story about who used to own the company and IS now out of business etc, so now I'D have to pay for the repairs myself if I want the dangerous condition remedied.
