The contact stated that when applying pressure to the brake pedal the vehicle would not stop. increased stopping distances increased the risk for a vehicle crash. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and a technician concluded that because there was heat build-up in the break system, it needed to be replaced. The vehicle IS currently being repaired. The failure mileage was 5,000 and the current mileage was 15,000.
