I bought my 1992 buick park avenue on 09/29/1991 (from don snell buick, dallas). each year I only used the emergency parking brake one time when I got texas car inspection. I think I never used that brake for more than 10 times totally after I bought that car. this year(1999), before I did the car inspection, I found when I applied the emergency parking brake, the emergency parking brake couldn not hold down. so I went to the city garage car repair shop, and they told me that problem been recalled. therefore I went to ewing buick (4464 west plano parkway, plano, texas 75093, phone: 972-964-3540) this morning (02/02/1999). after ewing checked my car, they said that my car had the same problem as the ones being recalled, but my car IS not on the recall list. I want to complain about it. Even though my car IS 1992 model, but it was built in july, 1991. since my car's emergency parking brake has the same problem as the ones having been recalled (1991 park avenue and 1992 lesabre model), how can (buick be sure that they did not put that 1991 part to my july 1991 built 1992 park avenue model! can you please tell me how can I do? the nhtsa campaign ID number IS 91v167000. the recall no IS 92c02. *ak
