Went through 3 alternator in 8 months. Suspect electrical issues. As the parts store warranted I didn't pay for any of those, but the alternator kept burning out until they replaced using a much better model than standard. *jb

O.k. First problem I had was strong radiator smell. Replaced adiator due to crack, still had odor, then film on windshield, no heat,just cold air. Precepitation on inside windows, wet floorboard. Gushing leak from heater core. Replaced water pump & heater core. Still smelling very strong radiator fluid, gurgling sound at start up and turn off. Losing radiator fluid, but no leaks. Fluid comes from under cap (replaced 3 times already) at times and has overheated twice. Thermostat has also been replaced. Radiator smell IS enough to choke you.

The body shop said a list of things were wrong. I have just finished paying for it in feb. 2003. But have not been driving it since aug. 2001. Cant afford to fix it.*jb

When the engine IS turned off, the doors all unlock automatically. not only IS this a major threat to our safety, this IS the third occasion on which my child's finger has been badly pinched as she was trying to unlock the door at the very same moment when they automatically unlocked themselves. I hope this has stopped - very bad idea!!!

- 45832General motors has decided that certain 1995 cavalier, corsica/beretta, s trucks equipped with 2.2L (LN2) 4 cyclinder engines may have push rod that may be in in hard contact with the anti-rotation bracket securing the roller lifters. If the push rod IS in hard contact with the lifter anti-rotation bracket, it may not be properly seated in the lifter which may reduce proper oil flow to the the rocker arms and affect durability. To correct this condition, dealers are to inspect the engines for proper oil flow and if found restricted, replace both anti-rotation brackets, and the #1 and #3 exhaust push rods and rocker arms.
