1# takata inflators replacement part IS available with new part number.. they refuse to replace it insisting it's safe it's 100F every day here in the mojave desert .. They boost big claims it will not be an issue..which IS laughable at best it seems like high heat IS a issue for these air bags being baked at 140F for most of the day we demand a new air bag with the new part number as they sell to the public for $450 #2 interior door handles peeling razor laceration hazard.. sharp peeling of door handle coating IS sharp (laceration hazard resulting from sharp edges in the chome plating on interior door handles) the vehicle has the issue for many years attached photos of door handles gm and gm dealers refuse to fix it as they claim it normal wear and tear.. from my understanding a door handle IS not a knife ... Or razor blade we know the risk of those when they are handled not a door handle its not normal for a door handle to be "sharp" or become sharp.. should be required to fix this defect .. 3 of the 4 door handles are peeling with sharp edges vehicle currently has 89K miles I have to always carefully exit and let passengers know about the sharp door handles this creates an unnecessary hazard for cuts to the hand or arm... the manufacture date IS 01/08 year 2008 model 2007 has seen action we would like action on other years as well possible full recall ea10-004..

Motor mounts were broken what's resulted in the vehicle lunging me forward when coming to a stop. The check engine light for the hybrid battery also came on. The result IS the car shaking and shutting off more than once when attempting to accelerate from a stopped position. Once was in a very busy intersection. it shut off when coming out of a bank parking lot and turning on to a busy street.
Takata recall site says recall IS "incomplete. Remedy not yet available" how do I schedule a fix if the dealer will not confirm it IS a valid recall?
Vehicle will sometimes go in reverse when in drive gear and vice versa. Vehicle will die when accelerating from a stop sign, stop light and/or parking lots. Vehicle jerks violently upon acceleration. Suspension pops, stabilitrack service, hybrid system service, brake service all illuminated on dash along with check engine light following the violent jerking and dying upon acceleration.
I was driving about 60 miles per hour, and the steering put very hard, so I can't go for nothing on left or right so I was very little to have crashed
Airbags do not deflate upon impact and electrical system short circuit on the printed circuit board and harness electrical short
Takata recall. We were notified that the psan inflators are defective and could cause severe bodily injury or death. At this point the manufacturer has decided not to do anything about this, however this should be remedied by chevrolet.
"Takata recall" car dealer wont take my vehicle for a trade in because there IS a pending recall been waiting for parts since may 2016. called gm, they say vehicle IS safe to drive, but not safe to trade in.
Cracks on my dash around the passenger airbag and above the driver bezel area. It seems this could be a safety issue if I were to ever be in an accident and the cracks are getting worse.
My complaint towards my 2008 chevy tahoe hybrid IS while driving my trucks stalls, twice already while driving off a parking lot onto the street it has shut off on me. IS getting to a point that I am afraid to drive it, I took it to the chevy place they kept it for 8-10 through 8/17, pick it up and the very next day the truck began stalling, dropped it off on a monday 8/21, called the service department on friday 8/25 and they said they can't fix it but they are going to keep it over the weekend to see what they can do. I love my truck but afraid of it...i feel I am risking my life and the lives of the other drivers while I am on the rode.
Sudden failure of electric power steering motor. No warning, no alarms, while driving. Luckily happened at slow speed and no accident occurred....but could have. post incident I could not find a recall notice or tsb for my vehicle, yet other gm vehicles with electric power steering have notices. The tahoe hybrid should have one.

Dashboard has cracked at upper left hand corner of passenger air bag and above driver side instrument panel. Crack at air bag IS worrisome in event that it may effect air bag deployment.
'Takata recall" -- vehicle IS 8 years old. should be on top of recall list. although not consistent throughout the year, periods of hot and humid weather exists where I live; this condition, as stated in the recall, can add to the increase degrade of airbag. I have learn that if vehicle IS over 6 years, our vehicle should be a priority for replacement or repair. recall IS almost 8 months old. repair should exists by now.
When driving around and at a stop light the engine will go into auto stop. When applying pressure to gas pedal the vehicle will hesitate and then lurch forward. Vehicle will also get a high idle between 1500 rpm and 2200 rpm and fluctuate between those rpms. Also when idling below 1,000 rpms the engine will rev up and down as if pressure IS being applied to the gas pedal but there IS no pressure being applied at all. Been having this issue for quite sometime and I figured it was just some bad fuel but it has been consistent. Also have no lights illuminated on the dash, no check engine lights or anything. I haven't taken to dealer yet because I am waiting on the supplies for the air bag recall so they can work on the vehicle while replacing the air bag. *tr
