The bike was operating normal after awhile it started to shake at about 65 mph. After about 20 min it seemed like the tire was loose. Now it shakes so bad I cant drive it. Corners are hard to keep control under normal driving conditions. It will shake when you accelerate and it wobbles when you decelerate. I have a feeling it could be a motor mount. At a little over 10 thousand miles you would assume that wouldn't happen. The bike seems to have lost something I did not see anything missing and nothing seems loose. I drove it about 60 or so more miles and parked it. I just bought the bike from harley on the 25TH of march. 2 days ago. I feel like reading all the forums online everyone seems to have a common issue with the motor mounts at exceptionally low miles. I feel like this should be a recal issue. Had the conditions of the road been bad I feel like I wouldn't be able to keep the bike under control. The front tire almost bounces and the rear end feels like its slipping on ice.

I was driving on city streets coming up to a stop light. I gently grabbed the front brake to start my stop when I heard a loud pop. The bolt that connects the brake line to the master cylinder came loose and brake fluid sprayed all over. As of that moment, I had no more use of my front break and because the fluid sprayed all over it got on the right footpeg and rear brake pedal. It was difficult to keep my foot on the peg and utilize the rear break. when I got home and was able to inspect the issue closer I found that the threads in the master cylinder that hold the nut in had corroded away. The brake fluid in the reservoir was gray from the metal and it appears the problem has been getting worse over time. The bike has only 8K miles on it, and I do not believe this type of defect should have happened. I now have to replace the master cylinder in order to safely operate the motorcycle.

• 10139399TECH ARTICLE TA0023: TA0023: Crankshaft Rod Bearing. Purpose: Technicians have been falsely identifying connecting rod bearings as failed due to a perception of resistance as the rods are rotated. The clearance of the Twin Cam and Milwaukee-Eight crank pin bearings are maintained to a very tight range. This optimizes performance and maintains low mechanical noise in operation. The connecting rod bore can also distort slightly in operation due to stress relaxation. As a result, bearing clearance decreases due to the contact zone broadening and the load being distributed over more rollers. The combination of a bore being slightly out of round and reduced bearing clearance can result in varying degrees of resistance through the range of motion. Axial clearance is also tightly controlled for proper alignment. For these reasons, zones of resistance can be found when the connecting rods are rotated by hand through their range of motion. Resistance during rod motion, by itself, is not an indication of a performance or durability concern.
