Risk and remedy
Risk
Failure of the axle bracket attachment to the trailer frame rail while the trailer IS being operated could result in the axle becoming separated from the trailer frame. this condition could lead to a vehicle crash.
Remedy
Haulmark will notify owners and dealers will repair the trailers free of charge. the safety recall IS expected to begin on or before july 6, 2009. owners may contact haulmark at 1-800-348-7530 ext. 292.

We have a 2008 haulmark cargo trailer. we use for our carpentry tools in our business and we have found the weld joints which hold the trailer to the axle to be broken at the weld. we have contacted haulmark at their 800 number and left messages but response. we are afraid the axle will separate from the trailer if not eventually repaired. we contacted our seller: bluegrass trailer sales,in lebanon junction, ky and they said they are no longer a haulmark agent and anything they would do to the trailer would void the warranty. what to do? melvin pike*tr
