Risk
In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
REV will notify owners, and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin January 18, 2018. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417, or Kidde customer service at 1-855-262-3540 or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information.

Unstable entry and exit steps increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
ARG will notify owners and dealers will install a retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, free of charge. The recall began on February 12, 2016. Owners may contact ARG customer service number at 1-800-509-3417. ARG's number for this recall is 151216REV.

An unexpected engine shut down while driving may increase the risk of a vehicle crash.
Remedy
Navistar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the IPR wire connector free of charge. The safety recall began on March 15, 2013. Owners may contact Navistar at 1-800-448-7825.

While attempting to pull the vehicle over to the side of the road at 20 mph, the steps of the rv independently disengaged from the lock position and struck a cement barrier. As a result, the steps and the body of the rv were damaged. The rv was included in nhtsa campaign number: 15v872000 (equipment). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. We were on the interstate when the engine lost power, there was no warning. a light came on and indicated that we had to shut the engine off. the rv lost power and we were down to 20mph, we finally came to an exit and got off of the interstate. this IS not the first time this has happened, we had another 2013 holiday rambler and it did the same thing. it IS very dangerous!

In addition, the contact mentioned that the steering wheel seized on a separate occasion. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to locate the failure. The manufacturer stated that the steering box operated as designed. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000.
