Ohlins Racing AB (Ohlins) is recalling certain steering dampers kits manufactured with an incorrectly machined bracket. These dampers were sold for use as aftermarket equipment on Yamaha R1, R6, and FZ6, Suzuki TL1000 R and GSX1300R, Honda CB600RR, and Ducati Monster 1000, 748, 848, 916, 996, and 998 motorcycles. Risk and remedy
Risk
If there is a crack in the steering bracket, at low speeds it may cause the steering to lock, leading to personal injury or a crash.
Remedy
Ohlins will notify the distributors and provide their customers with a new bracket. The recall began in November 2013. Owners may contact Ohlins USA at 1-828-692-4525. Note: This recall is an expansion of recall 13E-034.
On certain passenger vehicles and motorcycles, the owner's manuals contain incorrect contact information for the national highway traffic safety administration's (nhtsa) vehicle safety hotline.

The language in the owner's manuals IS not in accordance with the current mandatory requirements.
Remedy
Honda will send a postcard to dealers and owners with the correct nhtsa vehicle safety hotline information and with instructions to insert the card into the "reporting safety defects" section of the owner's manual. the recall began on august 2, 2006. owners may contact honda at 1-800-999-1009, acura at 1-800-382-2238 or honda motorcycles at 1-866-784-1870.

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2006 Honda CBR 600. The contact stated that while attempting to register the motorcycle, it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the mileage was 18,000, and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 34,235.

I went around the block of my neighborhood city street in motion when I shifted into second gear, the front wheel locked preventing any type of turning and the accelerator got stuck whilst steadily rising until I slammed into a tree head on. The last mph I remember which was the very last thing I remember before impact, was 45mph

If these prongs are not inserted fully, the seat may be difficult to install and remove. Front Passenger?s Airbag Inflator Can Be Over-Pressurized, 14-045, Recall: Front Driver?s Airbag Inflator May Produce Excessive Pressure After Long-Term Exposure to High Absolute Humidity Recall, and 14-046, Recall: Front Passenger?s Airbag Inflator May Produce Excessive Pressure After Long-Term Exposure to High Absolute Humidity have been posted to ISIS. However, due to the large number of affected units, American Honda is still in the process of populating the VIN status inquiry function on iN, which is expected to take several days. When this process is complete, American Honda will notify all dealers again via iN message. Until that time, the existing acknowledgement procedure must be used for all potentially affected vehicles.
