Front fork seals have failed two times in only 16000 miles. Though honda appears to have addressed the issue in 2018 model they are denying this IS a known issue (despite widespread complaints from 16-17 owners) and refusing to warranty the issue claiming it's a wear item.

Stopped behind a vehicle at a stoplight, on a city street, took hand off of throttle, split second later experienced an uncontrolled full throttle acceleration into the vehicle in front of me, stopped at the red light.

- 10115757Service news article - To prevent damage during shipping, leather-wrapped steering wheels come with a protective plastic covering. The easiest way to remove it during PDI is to grab the covering with both hands near the top of the steering wheel and pull it toward you, like you see here. The covering comes right off.
