  TL* the contact owned a 2016 infiniti QX70. While driving approximately 35 mph, a vehicle ran a stop sign and caused the contact to crash head on into another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained headaches, injuries to the sternum, and bruising aligned with the seat belt. Medical attention was not received. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard and was declared destroyed by the insurance investigator. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,000.

• 10227253DRIVE SHAFT BOOT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION If a Drive Shaft (Axle Shaft) Boot on an APPLIED VEHICLE is found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (cv Joint Boot Kit) availability. If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the retailer. If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to ITB21-002 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.

The fuel level sensor can be replaced separately. • 10208943BATTERY QUICK CHARGE NOTICE SERVICE INFORMATION When charging the vehicles 12 volt battery with the high amperage quick charge function, the ignition should never be ON, or turned ON, while charging. Attempting to start the vehicle, or turning the ignition ON, while using the high amperage quick charge could potentially damage the fuel pump control module. Only turn the ignition ON when either the ESM or a technical service bulletin service procedure states to do so, and only while using a battery maintainer or smart charger set to reflash mode, or a similar setting. Battery voltage should not exceed 16V during a reprograming operation.

• 10192842SERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90 (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown in this bulletin will prevent tire Flat Spotting. • 10192806IF YOU CONFIRM A refrigerant leak at a refrigerant pipe/hose joint location, ACTIONS 1. Inspect the metal surfaces of the pipe/hose joint for damage or contamination. NOTE: Do not replace a refrigerant pipe, hose, or other A/C component if an o-ring seal will solve the leak incident, if it should occur. 2. • 10192763IF YOU CONFIRM: "Brake Judder" during braking, especially when braking at highway speeds. Symptoms of "brake judder": - steering wheel shake - body vibration - brake pedal pulsation IMPORTANT NOTES: If any symptom above occurs when cruising or coasting (not braking), it is not "Brake Judder" and may be tire/wheel related. DO NOT CONFUSE "Brake Judder" with the rapid consistent-speed pedal pulsation that may be felt and only occurs when ABS is activated during hard braking or on slippery road surfaces. ACTION: 1. Inspect the front brake rotors to determine if "machining" ("turning") is possible or if replacement is necessary. 2. Replace both pad pins in both front 4-piston calipers (see PARTS INFORMATION). 3. • 10192751SERVICE INFORMATION Occasionally customers may notice water vapor or fog in the headlamps. The information, illustrations, and flow chart in this bulletin are provided to help you in determining if an incident for water/condensation in the headlamps is normal or not. Infiniti?s new vehicle limited warranty does not cover physically damaged (cracked or broken) headlamps. All current headlamp assemblies are vented to the atmosphere (not sealed). - This is necessary to allow for expansion and contraction of air from temperature "variations" (warmer or colder) without damage to the headlamp. - Moisture in the air sometimes "travels" into and out of the headlamp assembly through these vents. - Certain environmental conditions may cause moisture to condense. - The fogging/cloudiness should disappear over time when the headlamp is in a dry environment. • 10192745IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is "ON" with DTC P0603 (ECM BACK UP/CIRCUIT). ACTION 1. Confirm that the battery voltage is 11 volts, or more, with the ignition ON (engine OFF, not running). 2. Erase DTC 3. Perform DTC confirmation steps in the Service Procedure. 4. Confirm 1st trip DTC P0603 is not stored. NOTE: P0603 is often the result of low battery voltage, discharged battery or battery terminal disconnections. Please see this bulletin for furtner details.

Nissan North America (NNA) is not responsible for damage to glass that is a result of objects striking or scratching the glass. However, NNA is responsible for manufacturing issues such as distorted glass and cracks that are due to improper installation or damage to the glass during vehicle assembly. Our goal is to deliver vehicles to customers with a 12 volt battery in excellent condition. Proper dealership storage and maintenance of vehicle 12 volt batteries is essential to insuring good battery operating life and customer satisfaction. Dealers are responsible for maintaining vehicles in their inventory. 12 volt batteries in vehicle inventory should always be kept at a full charge to prevent excessive discharge during storage and so they are ready for delivery to customers at any time. • 10192647IF YOU CONFIRM The customer states HomeLink will not operate or has improper operation. ACTIONS 1. To significantly reduce unnecessary repairs, make sure: a. The vehicle is not in "Transit Mode" (if equipped). - Not in Transit Mode: With the turn signal switch is in the OFF (center) position, turn the ignition from OFF to ON. If the turn signal indicators stay OFF (do not illuminate), the vehicle is not in Transit Mode. b. The "Extended Storage Switch" (if equipped) is in the "Customer Delivery" position (pushed in). - The Extended Storage Switch is located on the fuse block that is located in the interior of the vehicle. 2. Confirm the customer is familiar with the HomeLink programming procedure located in the vehicle?s owner?s manual. 3. Test HomeLink operation with special tool HomeLink Transmitter Tester J-41540.
