  Risk and remedy

  Risk

  In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

  Remedy

  Navistar will notify owners, instructing them to notify Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 9, 2018. Owners may contact Navistar customer service at 1-331-332-1590, or contact Kidde customer service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information.

Only equipped with Kidde model FC5 and FC10 fire extinguishers identified by International part numbers 1696423C2 and 1696423C3 and installed post production at Navistar?s Truck Sales Processing Center (TSPC).
