This condition may cause an inadequate seal at the connection, potentially leading to a fuel leak. In the presence of an ignition source, a fire could occur.
Remedy
Honeywell will notify owners and replace the fuel filters free of charge. the recall began on october 18, 2006. owners may contact fram customer service at 1-800-890-2075 (option 1).
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. the front suspension lower ball joints were not tightened to specifications when they were attached to the lower control arms.
Risk and remedy

If the ball joint attaching nuts are not adequately tightened, they can loosen and ultimately, result in fracture of the ball joint stud. if the ball joint fractures, control of the vehicle could be affected, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect the torque on the two ball joint attaching nuts. vehicles with loose ball joint attaching nuts will either have the fasteners tightened to specification, or if necessary, the ball joints will be replaced.
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles equipped with trw seat belt buckle assemblies. the buckle base of these seat belt assemblies were not properly heat treated and therefore do not pass the load bearing requirement of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 209, "seat belt assemblies."

At 77600 miles the car has had all the bushings and ball joints in the front steering to a point that it's swaying so much it's challenging to stay in the lane when encountering any imperfection on the road. Experiencing loud clicking and clunks and fear that if this develops any further the wheels will fall off. This vin IS apparently not included in this well known problem so would be covered under a recall. With the vehicle l lifted I can easily move the control arm about half an inch. This will cause the bolt to break off very soon with how quickly it has deteriorated.

The vehicle was test driven and the mechanic found that the ball joints were fractured and deemed the vehicle unsafe to drive. Jaguar raleigh (4001 capital hills dr, raleigh, nc 27616, (919) 746-8675) was contacted and stated that the vin was not included in a recall. The contact was informed to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic testing. The contact referenced nhtsa campaign number: 00v359002 (suspension). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that there was no recall. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.

I went home and checked online to find that my car had a recall issued (recall #6434) for the exact items I was now being told to replace. I am the original owner and never received any correspondence regarding this recall and I still reside at the same address. I've asked both the dealer and jaguar to please take care of the recall but they are stalling; I am now worried about my safety in my automobile. the facts are that 38,681 of their autos were affected but only a few were repaired-- [xxx] at jaguar 800-452-4827 IS proposing $659 to apply to the $3,000 I would owe. I have sent two additional e-mails asking to speak to a supervisor. as of today, I have not been called, nor has there been any reply to my 2 e-mails asking why they won't repair my car. Please note that as yet jaguar vehicles with bulb failure monitoring systems for trailer light failure sensing are not compatible with trailer light boards that have led based illumination. As a result of this the led lighting on the trailer board may flicker during the sensing function. (This issues will also present itself if fitting led rear light clusters available in the aftermarket(non-jaguar approved accessory) based upon this we recommend that trailer light boards with standard incandescent bulbs only are fitted."
- 10096229"Issue: when investigating customer reports for incorrect fuel gauge concerns the dealer technician may diagnose that the fuel senders are open circuit. This diagnosis may be incorrect depending on the multimeter settings selected by the technician during measurement. Cause: the multi meter range maybe set at 'auto' and during a sweep of the sender from 50ohms to 998ohms the multi meter has to change its measurement range. For approximately 1 second, during the range switch over point, the multi meter display indicates an open circuit. This IS incorrectly being diagnosed as a sender fault"
