  Risk and remedy

  Risk

  A deactivated driver's air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury during a crash.

  Remedy

  Dealers will inspect and replace the spiral cable assembly, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 8, 2023. Owners may contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Toyota's number for this recall is 23TA08. Lexus' number for this recall is 23LA02.

• 10235245TSB: Some 2022 ? 2023 model year NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h, and NX 450h+ vehicles may exhibit a condition in which the left-hand side outer rear-view mirror vibrates during vehicle operation. The mirror vibration can be observed while driving at speeds of 35 mph (56 km/h) or above. Follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to address this condition.

During Pre-Delivery Service (PDS), follow the Installation Procedure in this bulletin to attach the driver side, and if applicable, the passenger side and rear seat floor mats to the vehicle carpet using the floor mat retaining hooks (clips).
• 10224139TSB: All 2023 model year Lexus vehicles are equipped with a factory-installed SiriusXM Satellite Radio, including a 90-day free customer trial. As part of the Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) process, ensure that the SiriusXM satellite radio is activated and ready for use.
• 10224131TSB: A battery in a stored vehicle is subject to conditions that can reduce its performance and service life. These conditions include storage period, temperature, parasitic drain, and battery load. Because of these factors, battery inspection and maintenance are required in order to ensure proper operation and optimal battery life. As a matter of policy, Lexus does not provide battery warranty coverage for discharged and/or failed batteries due to lack of maintenance. It is the dealer?s responsibility to maintain the specified State-Of-Charge (SOC) of the vehicle?s battery while in stock and ensure proper SOC at delivery. To eliminate customer service concerns due to an undercharged battery during the first few weeks of ownership, ALL dealers should test the auxiliary (12V) battery and recharge, if necessary, no more than 48 hours before delivery to the customer.
