Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Anthem (AN), Granite (GR/GU), and Pinnacle (CHU/CXU/PI) vehicles equipped with "camelback" rear suspension and electronic stability control. Risk
A vehicle that drifts out of its lane increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Mack will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the vehicle control units, free of charge. The recall began on April 21, 2021. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0423.
Mack Trucks Inc. (Mack) is recalling one 2014 Pinnacle (CXU) vehicle and certain 2018-2019 Mack Anthem (AN) vehicles equipped with air brake supply tanks that have an air volume amount ranging from 70% to 96% of the amount required by the regulation. Risk and remedy
Risk
The undersized air brake supply reservoir may provide an insufficient air supply to properly operate the brakes during repetitive brake applications, reducing braking performance and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Mack will notify owners and dealers will add an air tank to the affected vehicles, free of charge. The recall began April 10, 2019. Owners may contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0417.

The new HD shaft went into production on January 23rd, 2023 for 2.54 - 3.50 axle ratios and April 1st, 2023 for 3.56 - 3.98 ratios. The new HD through shaft is an upgrade over the current standard shaft and can now be used as a replacement part instead of the standard shaft. The new HD shaft has a new design to increase strength, longevity and life over the standard shaft.
