I recently completed a 3K+ mile trans-continental drive from [XXX]/[XXX] to [XXX] where I now reside. A service appointment scheduled mos ago in March w/ Maserati of [XXX] could not be honored due to their untimely permanent closure. I was made aware of this closure upon dialing in to confirm my service appt. & being immediately rerouted to Dodge/Jeep. This prompted me to take my vehicle to [XXX] where the Manager there was kind enough to top off my fluids & balance my tires however, w/ no appointment & no staff, the vehicle could not be seen. This is where things get 2x as sticky. While traveling east on XXX through the blazing summer heat in [XXX] & [XXX] this past XXX, the SUV began to perform erratically, requiring me to pull over. I was enabled to make it to [XXX] where the check engine light as well as multiple other dashboard warnings came on & as not to void the warranty, I had the car towed directly into Maserati of [XXX] for IMMEDIATE service. Upon having the vehicle evaluated in [XXX], 48 hrs later I received a "bill of good health" enabling me to traverse the remaining 380 miles to [XXX], yet for the past 60 days I have had to have the vehicle jump-started upon entering it some 4x just to get it to move! This is NOT the reliability that any consumer would come to expect when leasing a luxury vehicle from a brand as reputable as Maserati! Most recently, on XXX I was required to have the vehicle jump-started & towed to the nearest service dept. located in [XXX]. In doing so, while attempting to start it in preparation of the pending tow, the door shut & I became physically LOCKED INSIDE! Yes. Locked inside as all lock & safety components are electrical. I still suffer from PTSD & this is the largest safety breach I have ever observed! Having issued service, I was contacted on XXX to retrieve my vehicle. I arrived promptly just to view that it wouldn't start - AGAIN! This vehicle is defective & I do NOT feel safe. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C.
