Risk
Unstable entry and exit steps increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
ARG will notify owners and dealers will install a retainer bracket to reinforce the operating mechanism, free of charge. The recall began on February 12, 2016. Owners may contact ARG customer service number at 1-800-509-3417. ARG's number for this recall is 151216REV.

When stopped and exiting coach, entry steps collapsed tossing me around. the steps would not retract afterwards and so I had to push the steps up and tie them up so we could complete the trip using a short ladder to get in and out of the coach. further research shows the bolt holding the fan…
When stopped and exiting coach, entry steps collapsed tossing me around. the steps would not retract afterwards and so I had to push the steps up and tie them up so we could complete the trip using a short ladder to get in and out of the coach. further research shows the bolt holding the fan gear sheared. it seems it should be part of the nhtsa recall 15v872 at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/searchresults?refurl=email&searchtype=id&targetcategory=r&searchcriteria.nhtsa_ids=15v872 but, so far, 1-12-16 : arg and monaco do not recognize it as a recall when I called.
