I bought this car late 2019, from a used dealership. I was on the freeway on my way back from a 1 1/2 hr drive. And the car suddenly stopped accelerating.! I would push down on the gas petal and nothing. Freeway with traffic. It was so scary! The cars behind me almost hit me! I managed to put on my hazards lights on and pulled over. Then waited a while, and then turned it back on and it worked. Then it happened again. An so on until I made it back home, my 1 hour drive turn into 3HRS because I kept pulling over., until I got into the nearest town to a autozone to check it. Because the engine light turn on, they were able to give me some codes regarding the issue. Apparently it has something to do with the ●power train system. Cvt. Torque converter. Im not to sure what IS that. it happened on the freeway, and I was terrified! its also important to mention that just one month ago I payed around $700 to fix the suspension, and cv joints, not sure the name of the problem it had. But it was something that kept eating my tires out.! I kept buying new and used tires, I even took it to get it aligned. But it kept eating my tires up, then in a tireshop they told me to take it to a mechanic because it seem that something was very bad. Because the tires they wouldn't last, I took it to a mechanic and he said that I was in danger because the cv joints (i think that IS what he said) were almost about to fall off.! Because they were damaged and thats was another issue I had with this car. ●the tire pressure light keeps turning on and off, even when it doesn't needs air. ●and the traction light turns on like in a flashing way, and the car moves and gets out of control side to side. It seems like the car IS posses or something it does his own thing it get out of my control. I just stopped driving for now. I'm terrified to drive it! What can I do?

Transmission has a problem with overheating on any trip longer than an hour, leading to the car going into limp mode and being unable to maintain speeds and/or climb any high % grade. This has happened to me multiple times, leading to an immediate loss of power and the need to pull over and park on mountain roads to avoid rolling backwards. This is a known issue on juke forums, and nissan themselves have code read countless cars with the CVT transmission being the issue.

The timing chain rattled, wearing a hole in the timing cover causing oil leak. After driving my car and parking it, all of the oil leaked out on to the ground. When trying to drive the car, even before the oil leak, the car would completely shut off whenever I would slow down, including in the middle of intersections. After taking it to a mechanic, they told me that the timing chain had worn a hole in the timing cover, and a Nissan dealership service shop told me that I would need to get the engine replaced. Even before all of the oil leaked out, I was put in great danger not knowing when my car would shut off when driving it and slowing down. At one point, the service engine soon light came on, but it went away and the car drove like normal for a period before the oil leaked out. I was never informed about any recalls or service notices when I bought the car or when getting it routinely serviced.

Second failure of timing chain and front cover after initial repair under campaign p4213. Failure IS of exact same parts replaced under campaign, but nissan IS refusing to assist in any way with a second repair. Failure of these parts causes a massive oil dump, stalling of vehicle, and further damage if driven. Car stalled while turning into a gas station and dumped all oil.

Gas pedal will hit floor but there will be no acceleration. Seems like turning off the car for 20 minutes or more will reboot it, but only for a short time period. This happens mostly on highways, not on smaller roads as stated previously you must be driving for at least 40 minutes or more going at least 60 mph or higher. Went to dealership and said it was a bad drive shift but unknown reason as to what caused it. Never had problems before this.

My vehicle was taken in for original recall repair in november 2018 to charlie clark nissan. Upon pickup of vehicle, I alerted service man of strong smell of gas and he stated it had been repaired but my filters simply needed to be replaced. I had all my filters replaced three times and attempted to take my vehicle to alternate nissan dealerships due to persistent smell of gas but was told since they're are no open campaigns with my vin. I took my vehicle back to original dealership and have now been told it IS indeed leaking fuel as a direct result of the recall but they are unable to cover the costs of the repair due to it already been previously worked on. Vehicle leaks fuel profusely, omits black fumes through exhaust and has issues accelerating. Average fuel usage IS 60 miles perfull tank of gas.

- 10192840SERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90 (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown will prevent tire Flat Spotting. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192805IF YOU CONFIRM A refrigerant leak at a refrigerant pipe/hose joint location. ACTIONS 1. Inspect the metal surfaces of the pipe/hose joint for damage or contamination. NOTE: Do not replace a refrigerant pipe, hose, or other A/C component if an o-ring seal will solve the leak incident, if it should occur. 2. If no damage is found to the joint metal surfaces, replace the O-ring seal. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192801SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement "Certification Label" or "VIN Plate / Label" may be needed. These items may be available from Nissan by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192787SERVICE INFORMATION If the clip for the fuel filler cap tether becomes lost or is detached for any reason, it is no longer necessary to replace the fuel filler cap. The clip or "pin" is now available as a separate service part. NOTE - Do not replace the fuel filler cap if only the pin is needed. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192750SERVICE INFORMATION Occasionally customers may notice water vapor or fog in the headlamps. The information, illustrations, and flow chart in this bulletin are provided to help you in determining if an incident for water/condensation in the headlamps is normal or not. Nissan?s new vehicle limited warranty does not cover physically damaged (cracked or broken) headlamps. All current headlamp assemblies are vented to the atmosphere (not sealed). - This is necessary to allow for expansion and contraction of air from temperature "variations" (warmer or colder) without damage to the headlamp. - Moisture in the air sometimes "travels" into and out of the headlamp assembly through these vents. - Certain environmental conditions may cause moisture to condense. - The fogging/cloudiness should disappear over time when the headlamp is in a dry environment. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192727SERVICE INFORMATION The purpose of this bulletin is to give Nissan dealers guidelines to help determine if windshield breakage is covered under warranty or is the customer?s responsibility. Nissan North America (NNA) is not responsible for damage to glass that is a result of objects striking or scratching the glass. However, NNA is responsible for manufacturing issues such as distorted glass and cracks that are due to improper installation or damage to the glass during vehicle assembly. NNA typically does not find any type of cracks in the windshield due to stress after the dealership PDI. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192723INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the engine timing chain on certain specific 2011- 2013 Juke vehicles. This service will be performed at no charge for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number P4213 to this campaign. - 10192687SERVICE INFORMATION Design and process changes have been made to improve battery voltage at dealer receipt. Our goal is to deliver vehicles to customers with a 12 volt battery in excellent condition. Proper dealership storage and maintenance of vehicle 12 volt batteries is essential to insuring good battery operating life and customer satisfaction.
