While the nhtsa internet questionnaire restricts the manner in which incidents can be reported, I have experienced many problems related to the anti-lock brake system on my '92 bravada. I have brought these to the attention of my dealer on several work orders, but have consistently been informed that my brakes function "normally." the problems I have experienced repeatedly include i) ability to fully lock the brakes on icy surfaces at various speeds and with studded snow tires mounted, and II) experiencing a "hard" pedal and inadequate braking action in spite of literally standing on the brake on dry pavement. I consider these serious safety hazards, and emailed oldsmobile about them. the response was simply that my vehicle hasn't been included in a recall for anti-lock brakes, but when and if it IS, I should get my vehicle to the dealer asap!
