• 11011507This Slingshot help center article provides information regarding changing the oil on Model Year 2020 and newer Slingshot vehicles equipped with Prostar 2.0 engines.

Updates to the Service Manual have been made to address the new belt tension spec and updated tension process. Model Year 2024 Slingshot produced after 2/20/24 will come with the new belt 3212345 installed.
• 10251451Polaris has received feedback that the security system is not re-enabling after the vehicle battery voltage becomes low, or the vehicle has not been used for several days. As a result, the lock and unlock buttons are inoperative until the security system is enabled in Digital Wrench. An updated VCM (Vehicle Control Module) software has been released to address this concern.
• 10251447Polaris has determined that some 2023 and 2024 Slingshot models may have a plugged timing chain oil jet which could result in a lack of oil to the timing chain guides and risk causing severe engine damage. To address this concern, Polaris has released this Service Bulletin with instructions to inspect the oil jet, and replace if needed. The affected population is less than 40 VINs.
