When I am driving my vehicle will just stall. If I do not let my car run for at least 5-10 minutes before I go anywhere it will stall out on me not long after. It has stalled on the highway, even a few times with my 6 year old in the vehicle. After it stalls out a lot of times I have to park it, turn it off, open my door/shut it, then wait for the inside light go out before I try to start it back up. It does start back up after I let the light go out but not everytime. I have sat there for 30 minutes to an hour more than 3 times. Now i do not have control of any of the master controls for the windows or locks. I have to lock my door manually now. I was told that it could be from my ignition switch which I know there was a recall on before. I would like another recall for this issue and for it to be fixed before something not so good happens.
The trunk allows water to enter each time it rains. This causes water to collect in the spare tire department in the trunk. After it rains, trunk must be vacuumed out in order to retrieve water out of trunk. Unfortunately, this has caused my trunk liner to mold completely, as well as to begin molding under my back seat. My daughter and I have a mold allergy which has been affected by the mold in the car which is impossible to get rid of due to the location it has grown.
I've had the sensor to my tire monitor replaced 3 times and it continues to come on and cause my tire light to come on, although my tires are fine. It continues to stall when I'm going into 1ST gear or changing gears on the highway. When accelerating my pedal will shake
Oil leak from faulty seals.
Fuse box short do to location causing fuel pump to stop working and you knew about it for years , know fuel pump IS not working and fuse box need's replaced and all should be recalled started happening from day one and broke down over time cause IS seat bracket location and I feel you should be doing a recall do to factory defect .#15-na-051 no start condition ,thank god the vehicle was stationary and my son have m.d. Was not driving to the doctor's
It's throwing code po742. when I come to a stop and try to go it hesitates and almost causes accidents. I've done research and my vehicle IS not the only one of these cars that have the same problems, so it's definitely a defect , considering it has 120K miles on it
Severe engine oil leakage at 80,000 miles severe rear main seal leakage at 80,000 miles
Power steering leaks, steering IS jerky, pump makes noise
I purchased my '07 buick lucerne cxl about a year ago ago an I actually love the car however; about 3 or so months ago I noticed a what I am suspecting IS the transmission or possibly a censor or relay issue causing the car to make a hesitation and drag when I try to keep a consistent speed and only quits when I press or depress the gas pedal making the car either accelerate or decrease in speed drastically. Also, about a month ago I noticed the headlights and dash lights get brighter and then dimmer in a flashing manner at no certain interval; now the "service battery charging system" dic message along with the red battery dash light comes on and goes off also at no specific time or interval ( at which time my heater/seat warmers/radio/etc shut off ). I am able to force the dic message and battery dash light to go away upon my revving the engine or accelerating drastically. I have had both the battery and the alternator checked and both are in good working order so now, after some online research, I will check the fuses and relay switches more intensely. I pray I am able to find a solution as I really do love my car. Also, last week my transponder key quit working in the ignition and had to use the fob remote start to start the engine, thankfully upon checking the fuses under the back seat ( I guess from removing and replacing them ), the key and console ignition did start operating normally again. And I checked my vin # on this site and it IS returning clear to having no current recalls. I am however worried of some of the stories I have read regarding malfunction, I fear I may be facing a future alike incident so if anyone has any solutions I am all ears. Thank you...
I was driving down the road about 1 mike from my house. the road IS a country road and IS straight. I wasn't distracted or speeding. it happened so fast but I think I may have hit a slight bump on the right hand shoulder of the road and then the car started fish tailing and then went off the road and was stopped when it hit a dirt driveway. I had no control of the car and the brakes failed to stop the car. the car was totaled with only 36000 miles on it even though I luckily just sideswiped a tree. the car always seemed hard to steer as if the steering was loose and you really had to pay attention and keep both hands on the steering wheel. the car was my elderly in-laws who bought it brand new in 2007. they both passed away in november 2018 and then I inherited it and had just recently started driving it. The air bags did not deploy.
Both right and left headlights, both hi-beams and low beams will not illuminate. all other exterior lights work. Ac delco 22860591 body control module has been replaced and programed. all fuses and relays have been checked. headlight switch # 15926061 (without fog and trunk release) replaced. head lambs still do not work. without headlights this car IS unsafe to drive.
Vehicle stalls unexpectedly while driving and while it's just sitting. There IS absolutely no warning sign as to when this will happen. It's stalled on me while driving in all weather conditions and at different speeds. The engine just quits. Sometimes it will restart after a short while, and at other times it's had to be towed. We've had it to different dealers and mechanics and no one can figure it out. Can't drive or sell it in this condition. The same problems occurred when my father owned the car. He took it in several times for repair also, and again, nothing solved the problem.
Tarata recall my air bag light keeps coming on when you start it in screen under speed and the light also. And it stays on until you take out key.
While turning right at a slow speed the steering wheel locked up (wouldn't turn) for a second. After that I was able to resume steering through the corner. The engine did not shut off.
TL* the contact owns a 2007 buick lucerne. While driving 25 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The ignition key was unable to turn to the on or off position. Additionally, the gear shifter failed to move from the drive position. The vehicle was able to restart after twenty minutes and operated normally. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (ourisman chevrolet of marlow heights, 4400 branch ave, marlow heights, md 20748, (240) 455-3386), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 63,894.
I bought a 2007 buick lucerne from (redacted) in memphis,tn.i have had problem after problem.first it was the driver seat that wouldn't move back, then the alternator and battery.next was the motor engine running hot.now it's the transmission it was running fine.now it won't run in drive only gears 2&3.I saw that there was a recall on this in 2009 I don't know if it was fixed then or not because I don't know the original owner.if you drive the car it will run and cutoff in the middle of the street.(very dangerous) .then it will run for a mile or to and do the samething now it's parked .i'm not trying to get hurt or killed in this contraption.i'm already disable I'm not trying to kill myself or get killed in this car.they are dangerous.all need to be recalled they are not top of the line buicks they are a disaster waiting to happen.
I have no heat coming out of the passenger side of the vents. The blower works but there IS no heat had it flushed twice and put in a new thermostat no change
Takata recall as I was driving going to pick my kids up I noticed that my car seemed like it didn't want to go as soon as I came to a red light I thought it would stop by the time I had gotten ready to pull off as soon as I pressed the gas and got ready to make my turn on to the next street the line from my transmission popped off so I pulled to the side of the road to take a look to see what was going on and all I seen was transmission fluid coming from the front of my car.

This car just shuts down while driving. This IS very serious as you lose your power steering and brakes. It has happened 3 times in the last month. Someone IS going to get killed! I took it to mechanic first time he tightened a battery wire. It did start back up but died going down the road and towed it back. He then tightened wire on ignition module. It started and ran a few days and did it again. It now did it a third time. It throws no codes on the car so it IS very difficult to diagnose. I have seen numerous other people have this problem. Th
TL* the contact owns a 2007 buick lucerne. The contact stated that a chevrolet suburban crashed into the rear of the vehicle while driving at unknown speeds. The air bags did not deploy. The contact stated that the service air bag indicator illuminated and flashed following the crash. The contact sustained whiplash, neck, and back pain, which required medical attention. It was unknown if the six occupants of the chevrolet suburban sustained injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed and repaired, but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vin was unknown. The failure mileage was 163,000. ...Updated 10/23/17 *bf *as
While vehicle was in motion on a city street, approximately 5 days ago and also 1 month prior to this it unexpectedly reduced power and within 5 seconds completely shut down the vehicle!if I was on a parkway or interstate when this occurred it could have resulted in a serious crash.my wife will no longer drive this car for fear it will cause a terrible or fatal accident.the vehicles dash read "starting disabled"service throttle!took it to the local dealer for evaluation and they could not find a solution.this a very serious safety issue that needs corrected before someone IS injured or killed.this car only has 36K miles on it.
Head light failure due to passenger side relay harness module failure. Low beam lights failed on dark night on mountain road. This problem has been reported by numerous buick lucerne drivers. Buick obviously knows there IS a problem because they offer a replacement front light harness module that must be spliced into the existing main light harness to replace the original equipment module. This IS an obvious manufacturing design defect and a difficult module to replace. The replacement module IS approximately $50 and the replacement labor IS around 1.5 hours. With normal use this light module connections shorts out because of the overload on the module. Why hasn't this problem been considered for a recall? Gm has admitted it IS a design defect with the availability of the replacement light harness module wiring kit. My wife almost went off the road and wrecked when the lights went out.
Problems : a short circuit on the printed circuit board for the washer fluid heater, overheating the ground circuit board. May cause other electrical features malfunction, create an odor or cause smoke increasing the risk of fire. 2. Hwfs harness. Considerable melting has occurred around the hwfs fluid chamber. Possible for the heater washers module to ignite and a fire may occur. 3.ON 3 occasions the key has locked out of the run position and caused loss of power, power-steering, and power breaking; increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. I have contacted buick about this. They stated there are no recalls on my vehicle. Customer complaint number IS 8-2700897169. General service number 1-866-608-8080. I drive as little as possible because of the factors. 1ST recall # 08v441000 recall date 08/28/2008. Componet: electrical system on all 3 issues. 2. Recall date 06/24/2010 recall #10v240000. 3. Recall number IS 14v355000 recall date 06/23/2014. Buick states these are not issues with my car but all these issues have occurred by me. These incidents for some reason these all happened while the vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, fixing to stop, or starting from a low rate of speed.
I recently purchased this vehicle, and now the "service air bag" light IS on, and I believe that it IS for the passenger airbag (there IS someone in the passenger seat currently, but the passenger air bag reads that it IS off - car IS shifted in park). IS there a recall for the air bag system?
NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation opened these reviews into vehicles including this one.
In a letter dated august 27, 2008, general motors corp. (Gm) notified nhtsa that it will conduct a safety recall (nhtsa recall number 08v-441) to address a safety relateddefect that can result in engine compartment fire in approximately 850,000 vehicles equipped with a heated windshield washer fluid option.the subject vehicles of this investigation comprise over three-quarters of the recall population. According to gm, a short circuit on the printed circuit board for the windshield washer fluid heater module may overheat the control-circuit ground wire. This may cause other electrical features to malfunction, create an odor or cause smoke and in rare cases it may cause a fire.as a remedy, gm dealers will install a wire harness with an in-line fuse. In addition to the subject vehicles, several other gm models with the heated windshield washer fluid option are included in recall 08v-441: my 2006-2008 buick lucerne (manufactured august 2005 through november 2007); my 2008 buick enclave (manufactured february 2007 through april 2007); my 2006-2008 cadillac DTS (manufactured may 2007 through november 2007); my 2007-2008 saturn outlook (manufactured august 2006 through april 2007); and my 2007-2008 GMC acadia (manufactured august 2006 through april 2007) vehicles.gm IS instructing owners to take their vehicle to a dealer for service if they experience symptoms of windshield washer heater module short circuits. Gm's recall resolves the safety defect concerns pursued by this investigation.this engineering analysis IS closed.
