Air bags
Passenger airbag occupant sensor/module IS faulty. After a while, the mat kinks, bends, or folds. Due to this it loses connection and triggers a "service airbag soon", disabling the airbag system until the problem IS fixed. This IS the same problem as in nhtsa recall #10v644000, but for some reason my car IS not covered. It requires replacement with the same gm part number (19124390).

Vehicle cut off on railroad track while I was crossing it,. It would not start, key stuck in ignition switch and I could put the vehicle in park, front wheels shake while driving in the city, while traveling on open highway I hit a bump and the vehicle jumped out of cruise control and stops. I had it fixed by edenton motors in north carolina. There IS recall on cadillacs, but not on our 2005 cadillac CTS..

Left front motor mount failed 6/2015. I took it to repair facility for a clunking when shifting. Diagnosis was broken motor mount when fluid was leaking from the mount. Refer to complaint # 10882088 for failure in 6/2016 of the right side motor mount. Cost total $1006.63

This IS the second complaint re motor mount ( reference no. 10732081). 6/23/2015 replaced left side motor mount due to clunking on acceleration. On 6/28/2016 I took the car to the repair facility for the clunking, not thinking it could possibly be a motor mount problem again. I have spent $1006.63 to repair a problem I have never heard of. I have seen the torn mounts.

Unknown or other
The clutch on the cadillac CTS v went after 40,000 miles. When it gets cold outside the it can become sticky and not fully usable. I think it might be the hydralic fluid in the clutch. It should not go bad every 40,000 miles can lead to possible crash if the clutch does not engage. I am lucky have not been in a crash due to the problems I am having with it.
