The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated while driving at 60-65 MPH, the warning message "Service Power Steering" appeared on the instrument panel and the steering wheel lost power. The contact veered to side of the road and opened the hood of the vehicle but could not determine the cause of the failure. The contact stated she was able to restart the vehicle and she drove to her residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated while driving, the warning messages "Shift To park" and "Service Power Steering" appeared on the instrument panel and the vehicle suddenly lost power. The contact stated she switched gears to park and was able to restart the vehicle. The contact veered to the side of the road for a short moment, then she drove to her destination. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring. The dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 107,250.

The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler 300C. The contact stated that two leaks had formed in the ceiling of his vehicle; one leak was located in the middle of the rear section of the panoramic sunroof and another leak had formed in the upper handle above the rear passenger seat. The dealer was notified of the failure and an appointment was made to inspect the vehicle. The contact had also taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic and the seals and tubes located around the sunroof were tested and no failures were found. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and referred him to the NHTSA for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000

Screen turns black and green when on reverse or sometimes go black while driving, making certain controls like heated seats and heated steering wheel inoperable. The entire screen flashes with lines and flips between black and green. Issue happens intermittently, but more when putting the car on reverse instead of showing rear image it goes into a flashing green screen. Dealer tells me this IS a common issue and usually they replace the entire unit which costs thousands of dollars. Issue has been happening for over 6 months and now car IS 90 miles over the 36K bumper to bumper and had to open case with chrysler to see if they can cover the repair/diagnostic

I been loosing power when I drive on the highway and in the dash board comes out a light for electrical, I have to let go the accelerator on the middle of the highway to reset it, if I don't do it my car starts slowing down IS kind of scary, I can send a picture because it usually happens when I'm going more than 60 miles an hour and I have to act quiukly or a can cause an accident, it happen to me a lot of times but I took it to the dealer and they say the computer IS not showing nothing

The contact determined that the driver's side brake rotor was fractured. The contact lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the guard rail. The air bags did not deploy. The contact was not injured. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a yard and deemed destroyed. The contact called riverland chrysler dodge jeep at (985) 652-9600 (located at 601 belle terre blvd, laplace, la 70068). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 27,000.

(all the pins are OK) Check that the Connector is NOT loose (Sensor must get a voltage from 9V to 16V) 2. Functional Checks Rain--> Steering column switch is in auto mode (sensor is active) it is necessary to splash water on the sensitive surface of the sensor to trigger wipes. check the same for different sensitivities When the rain sensitivity is increased (for example from level 0 to level 1), as an acknowledgement a single wipe is seen. (This is not a phantom wipe) and this single wipe is not seen when the rain sensitivity is decreased (from higher level to lower level) Light--> Steering column switch is in auto mode (sensor is active) block the light coming on the sensor from outside of the vehicle (use a opaque object), the head lamps should be activated 3. If the sensor seems functional, it is ideal to remove the silicon gel pad from the sensor, replace it with the new silicon gel pad instead of replacing the whole sensor. When servicing the LRSM please replace the silicon gel pad with a new silicon gel pad (PN 68224945AA) instead of replacing the whole sensor.

Inspect the sensor for a fluid coating on the sensor pins. Orange colored rain repellant can cause this fluid build-up. Clean the pins, drain the reservoir, and fill with Mopar approved washer fluid. Check to determine if the issue has been resolved. Continue with repair if necessary. Also, please inform the customer not to use Rain-X in the system to avoid this issue. If the transmission bracket to the transmission case fasteners are removed during servicing, the fasteners (Part Number 06511385A$) are one-time usage. Vehicles built prior to 10/23/2015 requires Service Kit PN 68461214AA; includes Transmission Isolator PN 68264483AA, and Adaptation Bracket 68264479AA and Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA Vehicles built after on or after 10/23/2015 will require only the Fastener Service Kit PN 68329056AA. 2. All 3.6L/62TE equipped vehicles. If the vehicle you are repairing has a crack in the flex plate or failed pump bushing inspect and confirm that both (2) dowel pins are present in the engine block, which align the transmission center line to the crank shaft centerline and visually inspect the dowel alignment holes in the transmission case. If the holes are damaged or elongated the transmission should be replaced to prevent further damage to the transmission/flexplate or pump bushing due to the inability to properly align the engine to the transmission during the repair. 3. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If pump bushing is scored or damaged and the dowel pin alignment holes are ok, replace the pump assembly as opposed to complete transmission. 4. All 62TE equipped vehicles. If vehicle is jerking/slipping with MIL code(s) P0740 or P2764, check TCC Solenoid operation. If TCC Solenoid is ok, the codes are indicative of a torque converter failure. Replace the torque converter.
