10185597In the event that one of the subject vehicles is driven while the ABS warning lamp is illuminated, operation of the torque converter clutch will be suspended. Driving the vehicle with an ABS warning lamp illuminated can lead to overheating of the transmission fluid due to the torque converter clutch not functioning. A jumper harness has been made available that will allow operation of the torque converter clutch in the event that the vehicle is driven while the ABS warning lamp is illuminated.
10185596Subject vehicles may exhibit a concern where manual regeneration does not complete within one hour of depressing the manual regeneration button. In these cases, there will be no indicators showing why manual regeneration will not complete. Check the burner event log to confirm that there is no history of misfire events after the last recorded completion of manual regeneration. If there is no history of misfires to address, updated BCU software is available to address this concern.
10185595DPR damage, "Burner misfire due to excessive soot on the burner igniter surface", and "DPR push out" may occur due to the increase in the amount of soot in exhaust gas as a result of engine component degradation. In order to reduce the soot in exhaust gas under this situation, even when the engine components are deteriorated, enhanced ECU software has been released. Reprogram the ECU if the failure conditions stated above occur AND the cause could not be determined after diagnosis.

10185456Subject vehicles may exhibit electrical symptoms which can include, but are not limited to erratic operation of the exterior lamps, warning lamps illuminated in the instrument cluster, or erroneous DTC?s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) setting in various modules. If the subject vehicle exhibits symptoms of this nature, inspect for corroded wire terminals within the electrical junction box on the passenger side of the bulkhead. An enhanced junction box cover and wire harness support are available to reduce the chance of water intrusion into the junction box.
10184814Some vehicles that operate in extreme cold weather climates may exhibit ice accumulation on the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) butterfly plate with a repeat P1604 DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) stored in the engine ECU. A heated EGR valve has been made available to prevent this occurrence. Hino Conventional NE8J, NJ8J and NV8J trucks built before 10/15/2014

10117718TT-14-016 During service of the exhaust aftertreatment system, the technician may visually find that the insulation within the outer shell of the combustion chamber is pushing out or loose. In the event that loose insulation is found, it is recommended to push the insulation back into the outer shell, or use a utility knife to trim off the excess insulation material. Replacement of the combustion chamber for loose or missing insulation is not recommended and is not a warrantable repair. Missing combustion chamber insulation will not cause any adverse functional effects with the exhaust aftertreatment system.

10117685SB-15-031 Foreign debris in the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank may cause the SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) system to malfunction. This can result in DTC?s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) P20E8 or P20E9 - DEF Pressure Abnormality. An inlet strainer for the DEF tank has been made available to prevent foreign material from entering the DEF tank.
10117680SB-15-026 A subject vehicle may exhibit an engine oil leak or engine coolant leaking externally from the engine head gasket sealing area on the exhaust manifold side of the engine. An improved head gasket has been made available as a service part and should be used if replacement of the head gasket is necessary. Improvement of the head gasket includes the addition of rubber seals around the engine oil and engine coolant port holes.
