10117718TT-14-016 During service of the exhaust aftertreatment system, the technician may visually find that the insulation within the outer shell of the combustion chamber is pushing out or loose. In the event that loose insulation is found, it is recommended to push the insulation back into the outer shell, or use a utility knife to trim off the excess insulation material. Replacement of the combustion chamber for loose or missing insulation is not recommended and is not a warrantable repair. Missing combustion chamber insulation will not cause any adverse functional effects with the exhaust aftertreatment system.
10117702SB-16-015 Enhanced DCU (Dosing Control Unit) software has been released.Illumination of the check engine light. The DCU may falsely detect an issue and record any of the 3 following DTC?s in the DCU. P142A(DEF pump temperature sensor - Out of range) P204B(DEF pressure sensor ? Rationality) P20A1(Reverting valve for DEF pump stuck close) In rare cases, the completion of the after-run process might be mistakenly aborted. This occurs when the ignition key is cycled back on and then off prior to after-run completion. If this occurs when ambient temperatures are below freezing and the urea is allowed to fully freeze, internal damage to the DEF pump may occur. Once damaged, urea could migrate into the DEF pump electrical connector and SCR harness resulting in corrosion. This corrosion could result in detection of any combination of SCR(Selective Catalyst Reductant) DTC?s including but not limited to: P142A(DEF pump temperature sensor - Out of range) P208A(DEF pump motor circuit - Open load) P208B(DEF pump motor - Functional) The enhanced DCU software prevents the after-run process from being aborted prior to completion.
10117701SB-16-007 If DTC(Diagnostic Trouble Code) P0611:Fuel Injector Driver Charge Circuit - Circuit Low has set in the engine ECU(Electronic Control Unit) and the workshop manual diagnostic procedure has led to ECU replacement, an enhanced engine ECU is available to prevent this DTC from recurring. Replace the engine ECU with the part number listed below.

10117685SB-15-031 Foreign debris in the DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank may cause the SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) system to malfunction. This can result in DTC?s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) P20E8 or P20E9 - DEF Pressure Abnormality. An inlet strainer for the DEF tank has been made available to prevent foreign material from entering the DEF tank.
10117680SB-15-026 A subject vehicle may exhibit an engine oil leak or engine coolant leaking externally from the engine head gasket sealing area on the exhaust manifold side of the engine. An improved head gasket has been made available as a service part and should be used if replacement of the head gasket is necessary. Improvement of the head gasket includes the addition of rubber seals around the engine oil and engine coolant port holes.
10117678SB-15-022 In the rare event that a subject vehicle equipped with the 23k Comfort Ride air suspension experiences a premature main leaf failure, a 23k HD Comfort Ride air suspension may be installed with PRIOR APPROVAL from HMM QA.
10117675SB-15-019 Reinforcement brackets and fiberglass repair methods have been made available to address hood crack concerns. In the event a subject vehicle experiences cracking of the hood near the hinges, this repair procedure should be used to address this condition. While these repair methods may be effective at repairing a hood that was damaged from impact, impact damage repair is not warrantable. Hoods should be inspected for damage prior to performing this procedure.
