  This report relates to NHTSA campaign ID# 10V074000 "Fuel gauge reading may be incorrect." My car has the same symptom as described in the above recall case - fuel gauge shows one-third tank of fuel remaining when the fuel tank is empty. Recall was in 2010 so my car model, 2015 Infiniti Q60 Coupe, is not listed in the recall but exhibits the same problem with a dangerous consequence of losing both power steering and power brake. I have run out of fuel twice, second time after the fuel pump and fuel sending unit were replaced. Luckily I avoided crashing in both cases. That would not have been the case if I was on a busy freeway or if my wife was driving. Dealer that I have contacted simply says that my car model is not included in the recall. Pls expand the recall list of model to include my car model, and other models since 2010.

• 10208943BATTERY QUICK CHARGE NOTICE SERVICE INFORMATION When charging the vehicles 12 volt battery with the high amperage quick charge function, the ignition should never be ON, or turned ON, while charging. Attempting to start the vehicle, or turning the ignition ON, while using the high amperage quick charge could potentially damage the fuel pump control module. Only turn the ignition ON when either the ESM or a technical service bulletin service procedure states to do so, and only while using a battery maintainer or smart charger set to reflash mode, or a similar setting. Battery voltage should not exceed 16V during a reprograming operation.

• 10192842SERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90 (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown in this bulletin will prevent tire Flat Spotting. The information, illustrations, and flow chart in this bulletin are provided to help you in determining if an incident for water/condensation in the headlamps is normal or not. Infiniti?s new vehicle limited warranty does not cover physically damaged (cracked or broken) headlamps. All current headlamp assemblies are vented to the atmosphere (not sealed). - This is necessary to allow for expansion and contraction of air from temperature "variations" (warmer or colder) without damage to the headlamp. - Moisture in the air sometimes "travels" into and out of the headlamp assembly through these vents. - Certain environmental conditions may cause moisture to condense. - The fogging/cloudiness should disappear over time when the headlamp is in a dry environment. • 10192745IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is "ON" with DTC P0603 (ECM BACK UP/CIRCUIT). ACTION 1. Confirm that the battery voltage is 11 volts, or more, with the ignition ON (engine OFF, not running). 2. Erase DTC 3. Perform DTC confirmation steps in the Service Procedure. 4. Confirm 1st trip DTC P0603 is not stored. • 10192647IF YOU CONFIRM The customer states HomeLink will not operate or has improper operation. ACTIONS 1. To significantly reduce unnecessary repairs, make sure: a. The vehicle is not in "Transit Mode" (if equipped). - Not in Transit Mode: With the turn signal switch is in the OFF (center) position, turn the ignition from OFF to ON. If the turn signal indicators stay OFF (do not illuminate), the vehicle is not in Transit Mode. b. The "Extended Storage Switch" (if equipped) is in the "Customer Delivery" position (pushed in). - The Extended Storage Switch is located on the fuse block that is located in the interior of the vehicle. 2. • 10192630SERVICE INFORMATION For QX60 Hybrid Vehicles, go to page 4. Q50, Q70, and M35 Hybrid Vehicles The internal combustion (IC) engine in the Q50, Q70, and M35 Hybrid vehicles is started using a high voltage motor that is integrated into the transmission. The high voltage motor gets its power from the high voltage Lithium-Ion (Li-ion) battery that is mounted between the trunk room and the rear seat. The Li-ion battery cannot be recharged using an external battery charger; therefore it is very important that the battery state of charge (SOC) is properly maintained during extended storage periods. Action must to be taken in order to prevent excessive discharge of the high voltage Li-ion battery during an extended storage period. If the reserve capacity of the Li-ion battery is not sufficient, the hybrid system cannot be started. Perform the Battery Discharge Prevention During Extended Storage procedure in this bulletin once a month (every 30 days). NOTE: A discharged high voltage Li-ion battery is not a warrantable issue.
