I bought this 1995 mazda millenia [xxx] in march. By the time I bought it, the odometer read 65000+. Later on because I had a lot of problems with it, I asked the repair shop to check it's background for me. The carfax report they forwarded to me showed in 2002 it was already 185000. The shop manager told me there were too many issues with the car and it's not worth fixing. From march till now, I've spent close to $1000 to fix various failures on the vehicle. I took my car into the dealer for front in wobble / noise and engine oil consumption. 3 weeks and $1980 later, the front end was worse and I was told that the oil IS burning internally and needed to be replaced. Neither the dealer nor mazda would work with me to get back some of the money. 3 months later, the transmission failed with no warning. This car IS dealer maintained. *Ak

While driving on the ohio turnpike my right front tire tread peeled off but the tire did not blow out. The tread did $3,600 to my car. While at the body shop the left front tire tread was also found to be ready to peel off. Six months later, both of the rear tires were found in the same condition and to be replaced. *nm

While going around a curb at 25 mph, the front driver side tire blew out. This resulted in the vehicle hitting the guard rail and almost going off the bridge. The consumer was able to control and steer the vehicle off the bridge. *jb

She IS 20 and trying to make it on her own. shouldn't car dealers know if they are selling recalls. shouldn't the mazda dealer know about this. we took it to a mazda dealer first. the price of repair IS outrageous. What IS the law on recalls.

My wife and her parents and I were cruising along a state highway at approximately 35 mph when we heard a loud noise and both airbags deployed. I was driving and my father in law was in the front passenger seat. The airbag hit me in the arm and across the abdomen leaving cuts, and severe concussion as well as burns. Three weeks prior I had surgery on my shoulder for a torn rotor cup. My shoulder may be reinjured. My arm appeared to be broken but was not. My father in law had cuts and burns to his face.powder from the airbags filled the car completely before I could get the car stopped .my wife had bronchitis at the time and I have emphysema. There was no reason for the airbags to deploy. *Ak

Engine failed/seized due to low oil on 11/22/01 without any indicators from dash. oil recently changed on 9/25/01.no indication of any problems at all! cv boots and axles needed replacement at 68,000 miles to the tune of $1300.00. Also, engine check light comes on. owner's manual recommends use of premium gasoline. dealership IS aware of problem.*ak first, the fuel guage malfunctioned. then, there was an oil leak and oil pan gasket was sealed. check engine light was the next problem and abv solenoid was rplaced. lastly, check the engine light came on again. the dealer suggested not use premium gasoline but the consumer could not understand the reason. there was strong odor of gas, and smoke comes of tail pipe even after engine was turned off. *yh
