Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Dutch Star, Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and 2016 London Aire motorhomes. The pedestal mounting plate may be improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. Risk and remedy
Risk
A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect for a missing weld, and replace the pedestal as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 31, 2024. Owners may contact Newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 608 RSB.
Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2022 Super Star, Ventana, 2022-2023 New Aire, Essex, Dutch Star, and Mountain Aire motorhomes equipped with International Thermal Research powered heaters. These heaters could have an incorrect fuel line installed that may leak.
Risk and remedy
Risk
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel line as needed, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 30, 2022. Owners may contact Newmar's customer service at 1-800-731-8300.

- 10253816The Shyft Group Inc. (Spartan Chassis) has decided that a defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in specific motorhomes built on a Spartan chassis (NHTSA #24V 052). In response, Newmar Corporation is issuing recall TC # 2024-088.
- 10249596Newmar Corporation Service Department was made aware of a Captain Chair Pedestal manufactured by Villa International that had the welds break at the pedestal-to-base plate connection. The weld breaking would cause the seat to no longer comply with FMVSS 207 and 210. Villa filed NHTSA recall # 23E098. In response, Newmar has filed NHTSA # 24V 019 and TC# 2024-016.
