10121936Newmar Corporation has decided that certain coaches built on a Freightliner chassis and equipped with Equalizer leveling jacks may have air bags that do not inflate correctly during jack retraction, which could cause air depletion from the air bags. Issue: Equalizer recommends starting the coach and allowing the chassis air pressure to build before pressing the ?All Retract? button to ensure adequate air supply to the chassis air valves. Failure to start the engine and pressurize the air system may contribute to the improper inflation of the air suspension system. Do not drive the unit without the air suspension system fully inflated. If for any reason the suspension is deflated, operate the ?All Retract? function on the jack panel while the coach is parked with the air tanks at full pressure.
