DO NOT: - Erase any fault codes. If fault codes are present, process these and allow the readiness drives to clear fault codes. - Flash or SCN code the CDI or SCR control units. - Perform a manual DPF regeneration, unless instructed below. - Disconnect the main battery.
- 11009856Complaint: Check engine light with fault code: P300E3B the efficiency of component 'SCR catalytic converter' is not sufficient, is present in the CDI control unit CDI (N3/28). Cause: This subject is currently being analyzed for all 907s equipped with the OM642 engine. Follow the instructions related to this subject to collect information about your vehicle. After completing the checks, please open a TIPS case and at-tach the collected information.
- 11009854Complaint: Noises when reversing slowly <5 km/h (squeaking) Cause: There is a seal in the electric drivetrain that seals off the coolant system from the electric motor. This seal is moistened with coolant during forward travel. As a result of the change in rotational direction when reversing slowly, it may be the case that this sealing ring is no longer moistened. Squeaking noises may occur as a result of the so-called "stick-slip effect". This behavior does not impact the function or durability of the sealing ring and electric drivetrain. Remedy: Do not replace any parts. Explain the cause of the noises to the customer.

Cause of Complaint B: Soot deposits between the EGR Valve blade and seat leading to the EGR Valve no longer being able to meet the desired target of the EGR Valve position controller. Cause of Complaint C: Internal EGR Valve or other electrical faults related to the EGR Valve function.

- 10177237Swivel Seat Mercedes-Benz AG (MBAG), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner vans, has determined that on certain Sprinter vehicles from platform 907 (VS30) that are equipped with front swivel-seats, the electric cables in the seat wiring harness could become jammed and damaged in the swivel-seat frame. If electric cables in the wiring harness become jammed and damaged in the swivel-seat frame, the operation of the side airbag within the seat could be adversely affected which could cause the side airbag to deploy inadvertently or not deploy as designed in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to vehicle occupants.
