  On certain passenger vehicles equipped with lhd manual transmissions, the hand brake, which applies the parking brake, may not apply sufficient pressure to the brake pads to prevent the vehicle from moving if the manual transmission was left in the neutral position. the automatic adjuster within the hand brake may not work properly causing the hand brake…

  Risk

  If the vehicle travels outside the recommended range, the vehicle may roll away and a crash may occur.

  Remedy

  Dealers will replace the existing automatic adjustment hand brake lever system on the affected vehicles with a manual hand brake lever system. the recall began on january 14, 2005. owners should contact jaguar at 1-800-452-4827.

• 10097035"Re-issued dec 2015. Please note that as yet jaguar vehicles with bulb failure monitoring systems for trailer light failure sensing are not compatible with trailer light boards that have led based illumination. As a result of this the led lighting on the trailer board may flicker during the sensing function. (This issues will also present itself if fitting led rear light clusters available in the aftermarket(non-jaguar approved accessory) based upon this we recommend that trailer light boards with standard incandescent bulbs only are fitted."
• 10096229"Issue: when investigating customer reports for incorrect fuel gauge concerns the dealer technician may diagnose that the fuel senders are open circuit. This diagnosis may be incorrect depending on the multimeter settings selected by the technician during measurement. Cause: the multi meter range maybe set at 'auto' and during a sweep of the sender from 50ohms to 998ohms the multi meter has to change its measurement range. For approximately 1 second, during the range switch over point, the multi meter display indicates an open circuit. This IS incorrectly being diagnosed as a sender fault"
