I was driving my kids to school in my 2014 Nissan Armada when I suddenly started feeling lightheaded and dizzy out of nowhere. I realized something was terribly wrong and immediately rolled all the windows down. Thank God I did. When I got home, I opened the hood and looked underneath the truck to see if exhaust was leaking. I sprayed soapy water on the visible seams of the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter, turned the truck back on, and saw air bubbles immediately forming right around the welded areas. I recorded the whole thing on video as proof. The Big Issue: HOW are these exhaust fumes able to get inside the cabin with me and my kids?! I didn’t get a single warning light on my dashboard—NOTHING! I’ve owned other vehicles with catalytic converter issues before and exhaust fumes NEVER came inside the vehicle like this. The cracked weld on the manifold is leaking fumes right into the engine bay, and the AC/heater vents at the windshield are sucking those toxic fumes straight into my vehicle! Safety Concern: This is a massive safety hazard. Carbon monoxide in the cabin can kill someone or make a driver pass out at the wheel. I am getting my Armada professionally inspected and fixed, but I am reporting this because Nissan needs to warn parents and drivers about this issue before somebody dies!

I have brought this vehicle to glendale nissan twice for repair of air bag recall. Warning light came back on following day. Upon second occasion service tech said that they had changed air bag component, however there was a deleted code stored previously that somehow re-activated. He said they had cleared it and that I should monitor it. Light continues to be on. I'm concerned about safety of driving it any longer. I'm at a loss at what my options are.

I bought my veh on 2/7/18 after purchasing and getting home several days later while driving down the hwy the lift tail gate started to open and my dashboard started to ding but there where no warning lights. I had to pull off hwy really quickly to deal with this issue. Then again on 2/20/18 the lift gate did this again 2 times while driving down the road. Went to dealership and they said before the second incident it wouldn't happen again. This has scared me both times of how dangerous this IS. I have turned this into nissan twice and have still not heard from anyone when it was turned in on 2/14/18. I had the dealership check the veh on 2/13/18 and they found a defect in the bar that operates this lift and also a sensor issue that controls the electrical function and also a defect in the motor on the veh. They said after the first time that the veh was safe for me to drive without it happening again and they were wrong as it had happened 2 times after that. Neither time was any button pressed to open the lift gate the veh was moving on the road.

Vehicle was on the interstate going speed limit at 60mph. there were no vehicles within the vicinity of my nissan armada. suddenly I heard a loud pop-shatter sound. almost like a gun shot or a very loud and close thunder sound. I started to hear rattling and I slightly opened my sunroof shade to see shattered glass. I closed it and went directly to the dealership.

When parked on steep inclined driveway, the parking brake will not engage and vehicle continues to roll. when shifting to park on steep inclined driveway, the vehicle continues to move until it catches. when applying foot brake, then shifting into park and applying parking brake the vehicle continues to move until it catches. when vehicle IS on flat surface and only parking brake IS applied, the vehicle will move forward in neutral when vehicle IS at high idle (warming up) and will move easily without resistance when put in forward or reverse. The pedal can be pushed all the way to the floor board and will not engage. The nissan manual states in maintenance chapter (8-3) parking brake: check the parking brake operation regularly. vehicle should be securely held on a fairly steep hill with only the parking brake applied. if the parking brake needs adjustment, see a nissan dealer. the most common use for a parking brake IS to keep the vehicle motionless when it IS parked and to prevent damage on the transmission/parking pawl (especially when parked on an incline). I have seen 2 local nissan dealers and they say this IS normal and they don't have a solution to fix the parking brake.

- 1023906012 VOLT BATTERY TESTING FOR IN-SERVICE VEHICLES SERVICE INFORMATION The following Service Information lists NNA procedural recommendations for establishing good connections while performing 12V battery testing. These recommendations are expected to promote uniformity during the connection process, therefore reducing the number of incorrect Test with DCA and Replace results. HINT: If 12 volt batteries are allowed to discharge for a prolonged period of time, battery life may be drastically reduced. This condition may lead to premature battery replacement and customer dissatisfaction. IMPORTANT: CPX-900 is now an accepted testing tool to use along with or in place of the DSS-5000 CPX-900 operating instructions are found at: https://nissancpx900.midtronics.com/ DSS-5000 operating instructions are found at: https://nissandss5000.midtronics.com/ DCA-8000 is now a required testing tool to be used for all warranty replacement decisions. - 10192840SERVICE INFORMATION Temporary tire Flat Spotting is common on New Dealer In-Stock vehicles that have not been occasionally moved. Flat Spotting can occur after the vehicle has been parked (not moved) for a few days, or longer. In most cases it is temporary. In extreme cases it can be permanent. Vehicles should be moved every 30 days, in one direction only, enough to rotate the tires 90 (see Figure 1). Moving vehicles as shown will prevent tire Flat Spotting. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192821SERVICE INFORMATION Replacement 5-speed rear wheel drive Automatic Transmission (A/T) assemblies and replacement control valves (valve bodies) now come with blank Transmission Control Modules (TCMs). Blank TCMs come without software and must be programmed (not reprogrammed) and then configured after they are installed. When ordering a replacement A/T or control valve, use the Nissan electronic parts information systems to obtain the correct software program part number See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192805IF YOU CONFIRM A refrigerant leak at a refrigerant pipe/hose joint location. ACTIONS 1. Inspect the metal surfaces of the pipe/hose joint for damage or contamination. NOTE: Do not replace a refrigerant pipe, hose, or other A/C component if an o-ring seal will solve the leak incident, if it should occur. 2. If no damage is found to the joint metal surfaces, replace the O-ring seal. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192801SERVICE INFORMATION Because of collision damage or other vehicle repair, a replacement "Certification Label" or "VIN Plate / Label" may be needed. These items may be available from Nissan by request if certain criteria are met. This bulletin lists the criteria and provides an application form for such replacements. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192787SERVICE INFORMATION If the clip for the fuel filler cap tether becomes lost or is detached for any reason, it is no longer necessary to replace the fuel filler cap. The clip or "pin" is now available as a separate service part. NOTE - Do not replace the fuel filler cap if only the pin is needed. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192750SERVICE INFORMATION Occasionally customers may notice water vapor or fog in the headlamps. The information, illustrations, and flow chart in this bulletin are provided to help you in determining if an incident for water/condensation in the headlamps is normal or not. Nissan?s new vehicle limited warranty does not cover physically damaged (cracked or broken) headlamps. All current headlamp assemblies are vented to the atmosphere (not sealed). - This is necessary to allow for expansion and contraction of air from temperature "variations" (warmer or colder) without damage to the headlamp. - Moisture in the air sometimes "travels" into and out of the headlamp assembly through these vents. - Certain environmental conditions may cause moisture to condense. - The fogging/cloudiness should disappear over time when the headlamp is in a dry environment. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192747IF YOU CONFRIM An oil leak at the right side block ball plug behind the alternator. ACTION Use a punch to seat the block ball plug in the hole (refer to the Service Procedure). NOTE - Do not replace the engine block for this incident if it should occur. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192736SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing the front sonar parking sensor for unwanted activation (e.g. sonar activates with no obstacle ahead), inspect the front license plate, front license plate frame and if equipped, the front license plate bracket. See page 2 for example photos. The front sonar parking sensor may activate if the front license plate is bent outward from its bracket (there is a gap between the license plate and the bracket) OR the front license plate frame is bent or loose and is hanging outward, away from the license plate and/or bracket (there is a gap between the license plate frame and the license plate and/or bracket) OR the bracket is loose and is hanging outward, away from the bumper (there is a gap between the bracket and the bumper). If any of these conditions are found, correct it by removing the gap (straighten the license plate, straighten and/or secure the license plate frame, or secure the bracket, as it applies). - Retest the operation of the front sonar parking sensor. If the issue is not resolved, go to ASIST and the related Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for further diagnosis. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192727SERVICE INFORMATION The purpose of this bulletin is to give Nissan dealers guidelines to help determine if windshield breakage is covered under warranty or is the customer?s responsibility. Nissan North America (NNA) is not responsible for damage to glass that is a result of objects striking or scratching the glass. However, NNA is responsible for manufacturing issues such as distorted glass and cracks that are due to improper installation or damage to the glass during vehicle assembly. NNA typically does not find any type of cracks in the windshield due to stress after the dealership PDI. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192707SERVICE INFORMATION The Intelligent Keys used on the various Nissan vehicles may not be interchangeable between models and years. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192687SERVICE INFORMATION Design and process changes have been made to improve battery voltage at dealer receipt. Our goal is to deliver vehicles to customers with a 12 volt battery in excellent condition. Proper dealership storage and maintenance of vehicle 12 volt batteries is essential to insuring good battery operating life and customer satisfaction. Dealers are responsible for maintaining vehicles in their inventory. 12 volt batteries in vehicle inventory should always be kept at a full charge to prevent excessive discharge during storage and so they are ready for delivery to customers at any time. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192679SERVICE INFORMATION Power moonroof initialization procedures for the Applied Vehicles have been revised. The procedure described in this bulletin differs from the procedure in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). At a later date and where possible, the applicable ESMs will be updated with the revised procedures. Follow the procedure in this bulletin should the power moonroof in an Applied Vehicle need to be initialized. See this bulletin for further details.
- 10192677SERVICE INFORMATION Windshield "foreign material" that is on the surface of the glass in some cases can be cleaned off with a very particular type and grade of steel wool. * Most any foreign material on the surface of the Windshield can be cleaned off by using #0000 super fine steel wool. >The #0000 grade super fine steel wool can be found in most hardware stores. Please see this bulletin for further details.
- 10192650IF YOU CONFIRM The customer states HomeLink will not operate or has improper operation. ACTIONS 1. To significantly reduce unnecessary repairs, make sure: a. The vehicle is not in "Transit Mode" (if equipped). - Not in Transit Mode: With the turn signal switch is in the OFF (center) position, turn the ignition from OFF to ON. If the turn signal indicators stay OFF (do not illuminate), the vehicle is not in Transit Mode. b. The "Extended Storage Switch" (if equipped) is in the "Customer Delivery" position (pushed in). - The Extended Storage Switch is located on the fuse block that is located in the interior of the vehicle. 2. Confirm the customer is familiar with the HomeLink programming procedure located in the vehicle?s owner?s manual. 3. Test HomeLink operation with special tool HomeLink Transmitter Tester J-41540. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192638SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin has compiled Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and Low Tire Pressure Warning System (LTPWS) information for: - Basic diagnosing of TPMS/LTPWS systems - Radio frequency interference causing a "No Data" (C1708, C1709, C1710, C1711) condition - Sensor leaks - Moving TPMS/LTPWS wheel assemblies from one vehicle to another and TPMS/LTPWS sensor registration - Air pressure changes with altitude and ambient temperatures - Aftermarket tire sealers - Aftermarket wheels - Inflating/deflating tires with TPMS/LTPWS sensors See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192615SERVICE INFORMATION The information in this bulletin is provided to help ensure correct diagnosis and repair of fluid leaks. All fluid leaks, when properly diagnosed, should be repaired (whether under warranty or customer pay) to ensure proper vehicle operation. However, certain normal operating conditions can be misdiagnosed as a leak requiring repair. Unnecessary repair or replacement of parts in connection with incorrectly diagnosed "leaks" can negatively impact customer satisfaction, be time consuming and costly, and if not performed correctly can lead to future repairs. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192614SERVICE INFORMATION If the AV Control Unit needs to be replaced on an Applied Vehicle for any reason, follow the steps in the Service Procedure to configure the Multi AV system. NOTE - The original AV Control Unit must be installed in the vehicle while performing part of this procedure. DO NOT remove the original AV Control Unit until instructed. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192597SERVICE INFORMATION When servicing run flat tires or low profile tires: - Special equipment and procedures are required to avoid damage. - Specifically, Tire Pressure Monitor transmitters (TPMS sensors) can be damaged when improperly dismounting and mounting tires. - TPMS sensors becoming damaged during mounting or dismounting tires are not covered under warranty. - To avoid such damage, ensure that the tire changer being used and the operator of the tire changer is capable of servicing run flat and low profile tires. - Operator?s manuals for such tire changers must be followed. See this bulletin for further detail.
- 10192593IF YOU CONFIRM One or more of the following DTCs are present: * P0139 - HO2S2 (B1) (Heated oxygen sensor 2 circuit slow response) * P0159 - HO2S2 (B2) (Heated oxygen sensor 2 circuit slow response) NOTE: Do not replace O2 sensors for the DTCs above if the vehicle?s current ECM part number is in TABLE A on page 5.
