Risk
If the door opens, the scba cylinders may fall out of the compartment and onto the roadway, increasing the risk of a crash or injury to pedestrians.
Remedy
Pierce dealers will notify owners, and will install a flat reinforcement plate that spans the length of the scba door. this service will be performed free of charge. the safety recall began on december 5, 2011. owners may contact pierce at 1-920-832-3000.

Risk
If the driver IS slow to react during this esc intervention, the vehicle may deviate from the intended line of travel, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Pierce IS working with meritor wabco and will replace the control module free of charge. the safety recall began on december 16, 2011. owners may contact meritor wabco at 1-248-435-8001 or pierce at 1-920-832-3000.
Pierce IS recalling certain model year 2010 saber and custom contender fire apparatus vehicles manufactured from march 25, 2010, through june 22, 2010. the battery switch positive electrical post may come in contact with the driver seat base reinforcement.

- 11011818This bulletin is to support the dealer network when replacing a ASL 360 ECU that requires programming on the truck.
- 11011817Software update for fault codes on Command Zone display: This software update may help remove ambiguity between active and inactive engine error codes shown on the Command Zone display.
- 11010453Alternators with a voltage sense terminal must have a voltage sense wire installed between the sense terminal of the alternator and a positive stud of a battery in the main battery bank. The voltage sense wire provides a more accurate voltage measurement to the voltage regulator, resulting in better electrical performance.
- 11010452Historically, the main battery cable for the mechanical siren was attached to the cab power distribution area. The large draw of electrical current from the mechanical siren activation, would starve other electronics in the cab. Sometime causing HVAC systems, radios and other electronics to shut down. Rerouting the main battery cable to either battery box, provides an independent voltage source for the siren, causing less electrical impact to cab area components.
- 11010451Pierce apparatus equipped with Command Zone multiplexing uses the cab power distribution area for determining the vehicle system voltage. However, because of voltage drop between the batteries and the cab distribution area, this is not a true representation of actual system voltage. To improve the accuracy of the Command Zone voltage gauge, a 10/2 harness will be run from the right-side battery box to Output module #1 (or Input Module #1 if Output module is not present on apparatus). This will provide a more accurate voltage input to the module responsible for populating the voltage gauge value.
- 11008386All Roto Rays are warranted to the purchaser for twenty-four months from the date of service against defects in material or workmanship. During the warranty period products found to be defective will be repaired or replaced (at Roto Rays option) without charge. The defective light must be returned to Roto Rays, INC., 722 Park Ave., Herndon, VA 20170. The light will be returned to the purchaser prepaid.
